A Two at Best

A few good things first: We had a suite, so boarding and disembarking were quick, no problems. The staff at the port are wonderful! We were able to go to our room immediately upon boarding. The suite was quite large. No problems there other than the big pole in the middle of the room right by the bed--made getting up at night hazardous. The walls also seemed very thin. We could hear crying ...

I choice this cruise, one because I only sail with carnavial because I have the best time. First getting on and off was very easy. The food in MDR is great and the chocolate molting cake with ice cream is to die for. My stewarts I always have are the best But I tip them well because they deserve it. The shows are great and comedy club comedians were a hoot! Casino was fun and music was great. Of ...

This was second Carnival cruise to the Bahamas, this time my husband and I choose to bring our kids (17,14,11). My oldest daughter (17) loved the O2 club as she is very social. My son (14) enjoyed the video games in Club C but isn't as social and left anytime dancing happened. My 11 year old went to Club Ocean and even though she was with the oldest group got pretty bored. They loved the water ...

Disgusting Cruise for 1st Timer

My mother chose this cruise for mine and my sons first cruise for our Mother/Daughter trip. We were disappointed from the time we stepped in our cabin Suite U75. First, we had faster to the fun which meant our room should have been ready when we boarded ship at our appointed time of 10:30am. It wasn't ready until 1:30 pm. With a 4 year old and carry on bags made it difficult. Once we got to ...

We planned a 5 day trip to Disney and decided to take a cruise. Family of 5. My husband 40, myself 40, daughter 19, son 14, and youngest daughter 8. I had no preconceived thoughts. My first cruise. I would have rather just take the money spent on this cause and booked a week long vacation at Destin, FL. The room was spacious and it accommodated us just fine. We really enjoyed our private balcony. ...

Review for a Caribbean - Eastern Cruise on Carnival Elation

We were 1st time cruisers and chose this one because of the short length incase we didnt like it. We left 3 hours late from the port because the crew was still loading supplies. Then as we shoved off the was a medical emergency and had to go back. Then the boat couldn't get up to cruising speed and we were in rough waters. You felt every wave as we were only going 10-11 knots, we were told ...

This was my second time on the Elation, first was pre-2017 upgrades. Pros: Great crew, lots of potential for entertainment. Our stateroom (on G deck) was great. Embarkation at Port Canaveral is the smoothest I've been through. Some of the restaurants were good. Guys burgers is you get a burger on a bun and then build it yourself. Really nothing special, but still decent. The Taco ...

I chose this particular cruise for the stops in Grand Turk and Amber Cove, and was not disappointed! Embarkation was smooth, fast, and well organized. Because our transportation got us to the port earlier that the time I signed up to board, I was afraid I would have to wait until my designated time but we got right on the boat with no issues or delays. We had Faster to the Fun, which is ...

We chose this cruise because the family took our mother-in-law who is 88 on a cruise. She did not want to be gone for more than 5 days. Rist was everywhere on the ship, this was a bit disconcerting. There was only one good entertainment, the violin players, Isabel and Juan. The Piano Bar singer was the worst. The dancers tried and did a good job with what they had to work with. The theatre had ...

Entry level cruise, nothing overly good or bad

Review for a Caribbean - Eastern Cruise on Carnival Elation

First of all, any of us that can go on ANY cruise need to get on their knees and thank God we can do so. That being said, this cruise on the Elation in early January was a nice little "entry level" cruise. Honestly if you've never cruised, you'll probably like it. I found it lacking in a lot of areas, but honestly, for the money, it was a good value and that's what we were looking for. The ...
