Took 5 day cruise to Bahamas on Elation. It is a Fun Ship! Everyone in our group including adults and children had a great time. Very nice staff. We loved Gabe, our cruise director, who was overflowing with energy and smiles! A few things to know about the Elation. It seems like an entry level cruise ship. Smallish and needing updating. Two hot tubs full of children <10 yrs old, plus two hot tubs ...

Our stateroom attendant wayman was awesome and a pleasure to speak to everyday. our 3 waiters in the main restaurant were fantastic as well. went and had massage on the first night down at the spa and it was amazing. they did an amazing job. just very pushy on trying to sell their products in the end. no complaints, they are just doing their job. quality of food in the dining room and ...

I would not go back onto this cruise only because we weren’t being taken seriously. our a/c was detected to 78 degrees and poor management being shown to us. I called the phone 3 times for someone to fix the a/c.I was told the technician was on break so I understand how that feels to be on break while having a job. So I waited a day to give it some time. I went to guest services because I’ve been ...

We chose this cruise because we needed to be in Jacksonville for another event and decided it was convenient and we didn’t need to drive further south. If you’re from the north there are 2 things you need to know. 1. These people down here really still smoke a lot more and yes there is a designated area on board up above the pool outside but All Day it wafts right at you. 2. We went to a special ...

I treated myself to a birthday cruise in October, 2022. The Elation is based within a decent driving distance from my home, and the price was right, even with the double charge for a solo cruiser. It was that cheap. Embarkation was very easy, and the port crew was very pleasant and efficient. My cabin, an ocean view with two small portholes (priced more closely to an inside than a ...

Carnival is not up to par as pre Covid cruising

We chose this cruise since it had Bimini, Bahamas and Half Moon Cay and NOT Nassau. Our port of call to Half Moon got switched to Nassau. Very disappointing as I’ve been there many times and not impressed. Carnival would not give anything to compensate for change 7 days prior to sailing. The safety briefing is better now as when you get on ship you go right to do briefing and only takes 5 ...

Elation day 1 From parking to 1st drink took 1 hour. Mega problems getting the app to work and we tried on 3 different devices. Port holes/ inside room M2 It's very sparse and basic, not a problem for 5 days, but I wouldn't dig it for longer. No settee or chair in room. Hardly any storage space in the bathroom, just 1 shelf. I took a hanging toilet bag, which was a good move. ...

Let me first start off by saying we departed the port 3hrs late!!! I already had reservations when arriving at the port because the boat was smaller and looked older. The boat’s stops were Amber Cove and Grand Turk. As we were attempting to leave the port someone had a medical emergency (I had no problem with that but will explain my frustration). We set sail on Sat and were at sea on Sun. ...

Disappointed with Carnival Cruise # 8

Review for a Caribbean - Eastern Cruise on Carnival Elation

Mid winter 50 TH birthday cruise on the Carnival Elation, Some good, some bad and some real ugly. For the record this was my families 8 TH Carnival Cruise since 2013 and our 12 TH cruise overall. This ship is in desperate need of the dry dock scheduled for next month. I was surprised on how much rust was on the exterior of this ship but not all was bad. We had two rooms E-52 & E-56 and also we ...

This was my second time on the Elation, first was pre-2017 upgrades. Pros: Great crew, lots of potential for entertainment. Our stateroom (on G deck) was great. Embarkation at Port Canaveral is the smoothest I've been through. Some of the restaurants were good. Guys burgers is you get a burger on a bun and then build it yourself. Really nothing special, but still decent. The Taco ...
