Oceanview stateroom with a private balcony and twin beds that convert to a king. Every Carnival guest is assured of spacious, comfortable accommodations. All staterooms have carpeting, ample drawer and closet space, private facilities (shower, basin and toilet), telephone and color television showing first-run films. Our ships all feature staterooms above ocean level for a more comfortable cruise.
Too hot in August to enjoy the balcony during the day, no breeze. However, with the lights from the boat at night and the sound of the ocean, it was beautiful. Probably wouldn't pay the money again for the balcony unless went a different time of the year. Plenty of closet space/drawers. 2 bedside tables. 1 chair, 1 stool at vanity. 3 chairs and 1 table on balcony. Large balcony. Quiet area. Perfect location. On the main floor with guest services, excursion desk, atrium bar. It would be nice if they had smoking balconies on only one side of the ship or on certain floors. One evening our cabin smelled of smoke from the neighbors. Quiet. Read entire member review >>
Category 8M aft extended balcony, E257. Nice size room. Only one straight back chair to sit in or on the bed. Bathroom typical size with curtain on the shower. Liquid soap and shampoo in the shower. No hairdryer. Balcony has two chairs and a small table. Nice bathrobes in room and pool towels provided in room. Typical safe in closet. Beware the smoking. It is heavy everywhere on this ship. AFT of Upper Deck. Caution: It was an oceanview room originally and they welded on the balcony during a dry dock a couple of years ago. It is NOT a true balcony size cabin. But, the balcony is huge and nice to sit out on. Small bathroom, 3 small closets, safe, small chair, 2 very small tables, bed pulls down over the king bed. Be careful... I cut my head on the corner. Almost needed stitches. Read entire member review >>
