Carnival Eastern Caribbean Cruise Reviews

Great meeting this guy, humble and transparent. He just knows what he's doing. As I said,if He is not your cruise activity director, just ask for a refund lol. He's that good.

Review for a Caribbean - Eastern Cruise on Carnival Mardi Gras

We are platinum and almost diamond members with Carnival and have sailed on the Mardi Gras twice. We were highly disappointed on our 8 day cruise a few weeks ago. Sadly, the pools are extremely small and that wasn't the best scenario with the extreme heat this summer. We had to endure boom boxes (although they are banned) even on the Spa deck where it should be quieter. The Lido deck used to be ...

Wanted a cruise out of Norfolk. Getting on the ship no problem. We are platum so we have priority boarding. The room was to be ready. NOT. Went for muster drill, they scanned our card and said we were free to go. It was very crowded. However in the buffet area workers would stand in groups of three and played on their phone. They were also flirting with the customers. Paid for internet, it was ...

We chose this cruise because it was a newer boat and it was sailing out of NY which is driving distance for us. I have a family of 4, kids 17 and 14. We have been on several cruises but this boat was the worst by far. There are only two pools on this boat and they are little. Like cruise ships from the 80's little. Kids are allowed in both pools and totally take over with splashing, ...

First I’d like to start off with the good Dewa our steward was amazing , friendly and never forgot our names. He would check in to see if I needed any extra pillows. Sherwin John who was our server in Carnival dinning room was also great at remembering our names and what allergies I had. Let’s not forget he is also an amazing dancer. The rooms were nice and clean, bed was comfortable and the view ...

What a vacation… lets just say I should’ve went with my gut and cancelled the trip when the ship was changed from Magic. The ship is nice but it is not crowd friendly. Carnival should make this ship their very first adult only cruise 21+ only. Everything about the cruise says small! All common areas are small. The elevator situation is a nightmare we walked the stairs majority of the time because ...

Overpopulated undersized ship with crazy passengers

I chose this ship because it was new and different. Read some bad reviews before my trip but I went ahead with an open mind. The ship itself wasn't terrible but it was not great either. I will not book again. The ship is too small for the number of passengers. Dining room and lido food is sub-par. Bonsai Tappenyaki was great. Casino is small and near capacity most sea days. No adults only pool and ...

my brother booked. This cruise was a guys only retirement gift for both of us. I would never have booked carnival, but my brother was platinum status so I let him go ahead with it. buffet food was somewhere between prison, food and high school cafeteria quality. The buffet was terrible and the only option for lunch. They had some food court type kiosk, but the wait was unbearable. The main dining ...

My husband and I just cruised this weekend for his Father's Day gift, The boat is insignificant compared to most we have cruised on, so it made very crowded. I see more staff standing around talking to each other instead of taking care of the needs of the boat and guest. With no big food selections, we felt as though ate the same thing every day and the menu was like the restaurant you paid to ...

Just got back from an 8 day eastern Caribbean cruise on this ship. After about a 2.5 hour wait in line to get on the boat, we waited another 50 minutes for an elevator to take us to our floor. If we didn’t have heavy luggage I would gladly have taken the stairs up 6 flights instead of waiting. It was so bad we saw multiple families carrying their babies in strollers up the stairs. This would be ...

Review for a Caribbean - Eastern Cruise on Carnival Legend

User Avatar

We wanted a family cruise. So we chose the carnival legend. The food selection was absolutely minimal. There was not many choices to chose from and everything we ate gave us diarrhea the whole entire time. And several other people in the boat dealt with the same issue. We went through a storm and in the midst of that, two rooms had their balconies fly completely off! The ship is very outdated. The ...
