Carnival Eastern Caribbean Cruise Reviews

Great meeting this guy, humble and transparent. He just knows what he's doing. As I said,if He is not your cruise activity director, just ask for a refund lol. He's that good.

Honeymoon, no airfare required, Platinum status with Carnival this cruise seemed like a great option. 2 days prior to sailing we got call to upgrade from french door interior to balcony for $300 total. Since this was our honeymoon sailing we did it. The entire cruise I received all paperwork for another couple. Our room steered even called us by these names when we finally met hi m on day 4. ...

DO NOT BOOK THIS CRUISE! We had a family reunion / birthday party on the ship. The ship/cruise line was picked by someone in the family who cruises often and promoted the trip as a "great deal" . Although I was happy that someone else planned the trip, this is the last trip that family member will ever plan for us...#sensationFail. There was "NOTHING GREAT" about this cruise, and Carnival ...

f you want to be overwhelmed by inefficiency, and get a good laugh to keep your sanity, and be extremely frustrated at the same time, the elevator system on the Horizon will invoke all sorts of feelings I did not meet one passenger that did not criticize the elevator system. Even crew members laughed at it’s inefficiency. People walked multiple decks, constantly, because they could not bear the ...

We chose this cruise because the port was New York which was a manageable drive. The embankment was annoying we sat in boiling heat waiting to get onboard for about 2 hours. Once onboard, we had to PAY for drinks and could not use Cheers pkg until the next day. The entertainment on the ship was great, talented dancers/singers, hilarious comedians, the folks running games onboard were friendly and ...

Very disappointed with Carnival

Book another cruise, it’s not a vacation, this experience only consists of many many lines. The buffet area is really small to accommodate all the passengers, the line is constantly very long to get food. People would take their time picking out what they want slowly in the pile of food which also delays the line. Then you have people that are afraid to line up again, (after about 15-20 minutes ...

1. This cruise out of New York to Turks and Puerto Rico and Dominican republic was 9 days it was way to long.... we loved Grand Turks it was a beautiful island and good for beaches and snorkeling. The rest of the ports was not good we had to take a taxi to the beach a ways away in Puerto Rico. Amber cove was just owned by carnival they had zero access to beach we could not go in the ocean not even ...

I was limited both with time and finances so I tried to avoid 5 plane tickets to a European port and chose this ship and cruise line. This ship came out of NYC which from the start raised a red flag. The entire ship; entertainment, food, and clientele was catering to the urban/hip-hop crowd. I've been on a total of 5 cruises and have gone on back to back cruises out of Italy through Royal ...

Overcrowded cruise, pools wall to wall people, no way I would get in, had to wait in lines for food, water ice. Only one floor on the entire ship to get water, lemonade and tea. They give you tiny kid cups to drink from. Food was average. The ship windows were dirty. Everything costs extra. If you buy a soda package for kids, they have go to the bar to get a soda, and carnival adds tips on ...

Overcrowded, unsanitary, poor service

Review for a Bermuda Cruise on Carnival Sunrise

User Avatar

Refurbished- added passenger capacity for several hundred more passengers. Ship could not physically accommodate the increased number of people. Lines at buffet were 30 minutes long. Swimming was impossible-pools were so crowded you only had room to stand. Insufficient number of crew, who were poorly trained and unmotivated. In the dining room- 2 steps past our table a man vomits explosively a ...

Apparently the main objective of Carnivals transformation of the Triumph into the Sunrise was to increase their revenue and the customer be damned. While some welcome amenities were added, more of the focus of the renovation was apparently devoted to additional cabins than to passenger amenities. Cabin: The ocean suite was quite spacious and clean. Air conditioning within the suite seemed a bit ...
