Carnival Eastern Caribbean Cruise Reviews

Great meeting this guy, humble and transparent. He just knows what he's doing. As I said,if He is not your cruise activity director, just ask for a refund lol. He's that good.

Despite getting bronchitis during the cruise, we had a wonderful time!! Chloe was an awesome cruise director!! There were so many fun things to do and Chloe seemed to be everywhere. We especially loved all the musical trivia that took place in the Atrium. So many laughs and so much singing and dancing by all. We loved the shows especially the Magician/Juggler Marcus Monroe. He was very ...

Excellent Vacation

Review for a Caribbean - Eastern Cruise on Carnival Sunshine

We picked this cruise for the reasonable cost and a chance to see four ports in eight days. My wife, parents, and I had a great time. Embarkation was just as expected for a non-priority traveler. Check-in was smooth, but had to wait a little for our zone to be called to board. We did some research prior to our cruise and learned we were traveling on an older (updated) ship. We had an interior ...

Excellent way to spend my birthday!

We chose this cruise because it had 2 ports we'd never been to before. It was absolutely the right choice! Our ports were Nassau, Half Moon Cay, Grand Turk, and Amber Cove, DR. Nassau is Nassau...been there several times. We didn't book an excursion this time, though, and just went to Junkanoo Beach and it was amazing! Half Moon Cay was great as well. We just pulled up some chairs on the ...

Late 2016 my husband, brother and I secretly booked a cruise for my mom's 70th birthday.. however that one was on the Fascination porting in Puerto Rico and sailing to St Martin, St. Thomas, St. Lucia, St. Kitts and Barbados.. The hurricanes this past season as everyone knows clobbered several Caribbean islands, some which we where slated to sail to.. Puerto Rico eventually got their port ...

Great cruise on the Vista, 2-10 December 2017

Review for a Caribbean - Southern Cruise on Carnival Vista

My wife and I are recently retired from coastal Georgia and this was our seventh cruise on Carnival, our first on the Vista, and I must say it was the most perfect cruise to date! We actually have no complaints at all. Everything went like clockwork from embarkation to debarkation. a little late leaving Miami, but it actually made for a beautiful departure from port. The Vista is a beautiful ship ...

My New Favorite Ship

Embarkation was effortless. We had a friend drop us at the port. We have Platinum status, went to the designated area, and we were on the ship in fifteen minutes. It was easy. We took our luggage with us, so I can’t comment on luggage delivery. Our cabin was available when we boarded, so there were no issues. The lunching venues were limited, despite the email telling us where to go, but ...

Wonderful 8 days on Conquest

We chose this cruise due to the ports and size of the ship. So far the Conquest is the biggest ship we have sailed on. I was nervous about the # of passengers and am very glad to say we loved the ship ! It didn't seem crowded at all; Even on the lido deck buffet area it didn't seem TOO crowded. The size of the ship made it easy to learn your way around. the MDR was nice; we had YTD which ...

Great Funship Cruise

We really loved this cruise, most aspects were great. The cabin was clean and ready to go every morning and night. Dinner was good and adequate selections. The dining room team seemed slow, for the dining room being half empty. The team waiter seem to mix up our orders with the other guests and then would have to swap the food around. The Cruise director Chloe was awesome. I would definitely ...

Dream-y Thanksgiving Cruise

Review for a Caribbean - Eastern Cruise on Carnival Dream

User Avatar

We took the Thanksgiving cruise on Carnival Dream out of New Orleans. We live only an hour from NOLA, and we knew we just wanted to get away for the holiday, so this was a no-brainer. We previously sailed Dream in 2014. We consider ourselves fairly well-seasoned cruisers, having sailed on Carnival, Royal Caribbean, and Norwegian. The ship itself is quite nice, but it came out of dry dock not ...

Thanksgiving Cruise

Review for a Caribbean - Eastern Cruise on Carnival Dream

We choose the Dream because it was the biggest and closest ship to us. Perfect timing for the holiday while the kids were out of school and very inexpensive. Our cabin steward and waiter staff were great. There was so much to do and eat on the ship that we didn’t get a chance to experience it all so most likely we’ll try to make it up on our next cruise. The excursions were great. Key West ...
