We had a balcony cabin on the 6th floor and it was nice, spacious, and very comfortable.
The problems I had with the cruise was that the food was less than I expected, we skipped Peurto Rico, and there was only 1 nightclub in which smoking was allowed. Food-often arrived lukewarm at dinner, sitdown breakfast omlet was equal to a budget hotel freebee, bagel overtoasted, buffet lines were long but food was better. Lets talk about the positive aspects of the cruise first. The dining room staff was attentive, friendly ,helpful. and very hard working.The workout area was quite adequate, clean and well equipped.
The stateroom was clean and nicely appointed and the cabin stewards took care to keep in in good order.

Carnival Sunshine:
Prior to booking the cruise I read the reviews for this ship. Many were not positive, but, my wife and I were willing to see for ourselves. We found out that the negative reviews were exactly right.
The good:
"Guys" Burger's were great. Probably the best burger and fries I have ever had.

Rather than driving to Miami and taking the 8 day Breeze to Aruba, we opted for Port Canaveral since we live 5 minutes from it. Also since we love Grand Turk we ended up with the Sunshine. On Day 1 we were wondering why we didn't just drive to Miami.

We are done with Carnival. Nothing new with this cruise line. We did the faster to the fun and that is always well worth the $50.
