Great meeting this guy, humble and transparent. He just knows what he's doing. As I said,if He is not your cruise activity director, just ask for a refund lol. He's that good.

The trip was great, the service was excellent. There were a few items that were brought to my eye. Tables in the on deck aft quarter, always felt sticky to my touch. Crumbs and dried up Ketchup was noted on more than one occasion. (always aft quarter) floors were swept but could have used a bit more attention. Yes this is an older ship, and one can find fault with many little things that were ...

Embarking in New Orleans was a bit slow but certainly organized. We had to sit for almost an hour before boarding started. I was in the Platinum group so I checked in around 10 am and was not on board until noon. The ship could use a major facelift. It was old. My balcony was rusty and unkepted. I was in an Ocean Suite. Dining was good. My servers Paul, Roberto and Jose were very ...

My husband and I went on this cruise for our anniversary. Food: Extremely repetative - sit down dining in their restaurant was serving the same dishes in the Lido buffet. Lack of options we were both so sick of the food. They had 4 extra restaurants which you could pay extra to attend but when have really spent a lot of money on the cruise itself you arent expecting extra restaurant ...

We went on this ship with another couple. While we had a great time there were other ships I would have rather been on. It seems small and chopped up. The public areas are very small and crowded. The photo area was in a terrible place. They also didn't have anywhere to hold photos until you decide what you liked. 2 of my photos I was waiting to decide on disappeared. The "my time dinning" ...

My wife and I took a cruise on Carnival Vista, this was our first cruise on Carnival. The ship was fairly new and large, however after cruising on Royal Caribbean this ship seemed dual and not very impressive. There was no dress code for the dinning room and no one used the hand sanitizers after leaving the pool area. The crew was courteous and the ports of call were excellent. The cruise director ...

After 14 sailings over three years we decided to try a Carnival cruise to see why so many people say they love Carnival Cruises. After this cruise it will be difficult to find my wife and me on another Carnival cruise. The embarkation went well and on time and the balcony cabin on deck 9 was well chosen. We stopped at the buffet and that's when it began to go downhill. All 4 stations at the Lido ...

Decent vacation but some annoyances

Review for a Caribbean - Eastern Cruise on Carnival Pride

First of all, the port of Baltimore was awesome. easy and uncrowded. We did have a late arrival though so maybe we missed crowds but getting off was a breeze thru customs. We used Orlando before and this was a HUGE difference for the positive. Now about the Pride. My reason for three stars and not less, is because my children had a good vacation, which was my priority. This was their first ...

We like cruising from Baltimore, it's close to home and we've always enjoyed the Pride. Parking it very affordable and easy. Generally we have FTTF and it makes everything so much easier. I don't know if we are just tired of the Pride or what but we didn't enjoy this cruise. We loved Grand Turk and HMC is just gorgeous. Freeport is Freeport...Carlos was our server in the MDR- he was so funny. ...
