We chose this cruise for the price (which was cheap) and the ports (Grand Turk, Nassau, and Half Moon Cay), and the fact it was a 5 night cruise- anything less than 5 nights tends to feel like a booze cruise to us. Carnival has put together a wonder ship with an Italian Venizia theme. The decor is just wonderful and welcomed change from the many other cruise lines we have sailed.

It was our 5th sailing on the Mardi Gras, Cabin was on the front of the ship. It was the longest walk to/from elevator bank. We went on the last Freedom cruise before her dry dock in Barcelona to get her fins fixed. We had a great cruise.
