From start to finish this was a subpar vacation for our kids. Way too crowded, buffet was not good & worse of all was that the service sucked. Trying to find a fun, charismatic bartender was not possible. We couldn't even try to throw out extra mobey for decent service. Pathetic! Then to top it off, post sailing we get a reimbursement check for an overcharge. Then 2 weeks post sailing we get ...
We've been cruising several times in the past with Carnival and RCL. We had great impression on Carnival back to 2016 so we chose Carnival Dream to sail with our 18-month old baby. However, the entire trip was not good at all compared to our past experience.
1) Embarkation - Probably the only good part. It is very smooth. We arrived on time and check-in is very smooth and fast.
2) Food - ...
This was our first cruise since covid, but my sixth cruise over all and fourth cruise on Carnival. So from the beginning. We decided to book this trip last minute after suffering two deaths in the family as a way to decompress from the losses. So in September we started looking for a cruise out of Galveston being we reside in Texas and didn't want to fly to Florida. Even though we wanted to take ...
We choose this cruise to celebrate thanksgiving and a family birthday. It was a terrible disappointment. The food in the dining room was atrocious. Not good on the lido buffet either. The steak house was passable. The atmosphere in the steakhouse is nice.
My importantly we had a medical issue at 1:00am. The medical clinic is closed. So if you have emergency in middle of night this is not ...
The dining room food was gross and it took forever. The boat was not clean and is outdated. There was an inch of dust on the vents in the Spa. The sofa in my room was in need to shampooing. Someone used duct tape to hold the laps together in my cabin. Drink services wait times were long. There was a fight by the pizza place and security was nowhere to be found. The bartender just watched the fight ...
Have been on 5 other Carnival cruises before this one and I will never cruise with Carnival again. Food was awful and over cooked, took sometimes over an hour to get bar and lounclge staff to help me get a drink and other passengers were rude and started fights. While waiting over 45 min for charm bracelet charms people would cut on line and threaten to "wipe the floor with you" staff and security ...
While the crew were kind and gracious, this simply could not make up for the lack of functional air conditioning for DAYS on end and the fact that the ship was absolutely packed so there was no relief from the sweltered overcrowding.
I am from Arizona - so I was looking forward to a COOL, ocean vacation. This simply did not happen with this ship. Moreover, due to the number of people on board, ...
Of the seven cruises this was the worst, no recognition for past cruisers in captain party. No update on current carnival status. Just two free bottles of water. Went to dinner in at our time 8:15 was so turned off by staff. Food was terrible, staff was rude. We ate rest of time I
On Alito deck same food each day. Yuck. Bartender in lobby bar was rude and down right ugly to me and several ...
Wanted to give it a try have always gone on royal Caribbean. Service terrible food even worse. We had a suite 7245. The toilet would not work tv didn’t work door handle to deck was falling off. They would constantly try and sell u shots and trinkets worse than the streets in Cozumel. None stop nickel and dime u to death. We bailed dinning room food was so bad went to restaurants and paid for ...
This was a family Christmas cruise.
Well where do I start, the food is ok, there are several restaurants but the lines are long (ship Carrie's 6000 people). The food at Golden Corral is more fresh and tastes better. If I had to give the best recommendation for food is Guy's Burger Joint. Luckily you can't not screw up a cheese burger. The ship activities while at sea are not fun and the ...
