Review for a Caribbean - Western Cruise on Carnival Dream

We were very pleased with the cruise BUT we always get a balcony and right below our balcony was a whirlpool with a very bright light that shined into our room all night. We couldn't stand out on our balcony and enjoy the view because there were people in the whirlpool all day long, every day looking back at us! We felt very uncomfortable because we felt they thought we were staring at them. Phil ...

Relatively new to cruising, having only cruised to Alaska, Hawaii and Mexico, in the past. My wife told me that this 8-day cruise was the best vacation we have ever had. Why? We chose to make this Carnival cruise a means to find enjoyment in being together, taking advantage of the ports and what the ship offered. Choosing to go the value way, allowing for more cruises, we opted for an inside ...

Had a great time the service was great the ship was very clean the ship was full. Loved the excursions, had a wonderful time on each one, however the last four days on board we noticed a lot of people sneezing and coughing really thought nothing of it, until we started sneezing and coughing when we got home and self tested we discovered we had COVID we are fully vaccinated so our symptoms are not ...

This was for my birthday, we had the best cruise ever. This was our 17th cruise. Great dining staff, wonderful food. The excursions were very fun. We had no been to these three ports before, Key West, Freeport and Nassau in the Bahamas. All of the crew were super nice. The cruise director Gary was very funny. Enjoyed his morning show every morning. The shows in the evening was great. The crew in ...

I sailed with The Flying Scotsman (Chris Williams) last Nov and wanted to sail this cruise with him again. He does not disappoint when it comes to onboard entertainment, whether from him or his staff. He has so much energy that he brings to the cruise. The shows on board were excellent. Chris also did a a wonderful veterans appreciation on the last day of the cruise. Our cabin steward Pande kept ...

I give Carnival Dream a 9 out of 10, with 10 being the highest. Enjoy the ship and cruise. Ship is clean and neat. Our interior cabin was very roomy and comfortable. Crew was very friendly, Especially Wasanna in the Buffet Area, Always telling you good morning. She puts a big smile on your face every day. Food was good in the dinning room 7 out 10. "I am kinda picky, being from New Orleans" The ...

Dream-y Thanksgiving Cruise

We took the Thanksgiving cruise on Carnival Dream out of New Orleans. We live only an hour from NOLA, and we knew we just wanted to get away for the holiday, so this was a no-brainer. We previously sailed Dream in 2014. We consider ourselves fairly well-seasoned cruisers, having sailed on Carnival, Royal Caribbean, and Norwegian. The ship itself is quite nice, but it came out of dry dock not ...

We choose the Dream because it was the biggest and closest ship to us. Perfect timing for the holiday while the kids were out of school and very inexpensive. Our cabin steward and waiter staff were great. There was so much to do and eat on the ship that we didn’t get a chance to experience it all so most likely we’ll try to make it up on our next cruise. The excursions were great. Key West ...
