I cruise every spring break. I chose this cruise because they dates were right, the price was good, and the debarkation port is awesome (New Orleans). The food in the Scarlet dining lounge was not good, the service was even worse, much worse. The shows in the Encore lounge were fantastic. But why the wait? Ship's crew left the doors closed (light and sound checks, presumably) until ...

This is my last cruise on Carnival. The entertainment was average. The bartenders were not friendly at all. Everywhere you went there were lines. I bought a drink card and even the cokes had to be opened at the bar before they would allow me to take it to my room. IF you buy the endless bubbles, everyone in your cabin over 21 has to also buy. Your limit is 15 drinks per 24 hour period. The ...

My first cruise and my early birthday present. I hear everyone talking about how nice some crusies are but this dream was like a nightmare. First of all, our rooms where not ready so we had to wait. Second of all the steward was lazy. He didn't change our linen and if he did he would put dirty linen on our bed and we had to call for him to do our beds over. The beds where uncomfortable because ...

Third time cruising with Carnival and it turned out to be quite disappointing. In a nutshell, the one port stop, St Maarten, I was really looking forward to was cancelled because the captain thought the seas were rough even though 4 other ships were able dock safely. Embarkation was fast because we bought the Faster to the Fun package; otherwise the line is huge and takes about a couple hours ...

This was the first time of cruising with Carnival having been with numerous other cruise lines. We were somewhat overwhelmed by the sheer size of the boat - but we expected this having done some basic research beforehand. The firs thing that struck us was that the cabin (Deck 8 - balcony) was OK for size but not drinkmaking facilities (coffee or tea). OK, so not to worry we brought our own ...

This was our 5th cruise with Carnival over the past 10 years and it has really went down hill. We have always had a great experience in the past. But the boat is not in great condition. Our room steward was just okay not great like they have been in the past. We paid for a large aft balcony only to have soot from the exhaust above constantly falling on the balcony turning our feet black and ...

I've been on many cruises, this was the worse. We arrived at our room 8493 on Saturday and immediately noticed a strong smell of sewer gas in the adjacent hall and our room, we waited until Tuesday to call the service desk thinking it would go away, nothing was done. after numerous complaints and a few staff members coming into our room confirming the odor all that was done was spraying some kind ...

Wife & I have been loyal Carnival crusiers for more than 15 years. We have never experienced such a poor level of service from Carnival. Food was cold most of the time. Ship was crowded and finding quiet space was a chore. We did not even meet our room stewart, Nova until the 2nd day of sailing. On our 4th night, they actually forgot to turn down our room. As this was our 32nd anniversary, we ...

We came in a few days early to hit Disney World for two great days and stayed in Kissimmee the night before embarkation. It was an easy drive to the Port, about an hour or less, but make sure you fill up with gas! We only had ONE gas station come up from Kissimmee to Port, and we were NERVOUS! And so were 3 or 4 other families who had just made it in. Food offerings aren't good at this gas station ...

Embarkation was great. Got on the ship very fast. Then the troubles started. Got to the buffet and all the food was gone! This was around 3:15. All the buffets close around 3:30 and they said, just wait..Food coming out. It never did. Oh and if you think you will get burgers, fries and pizza quick? Think again. The guy making the pizza can never keep up and you will wait. Sometimes up to 20 ...
