Inside stateroom with twin beds that convert to a king. Every Carnival guest is assured of spacious, comfortable accommodations. All staterooms have carpeting, ample drawer and closet space, private facilities (shower, basin and toilet), telephone and color television showing first-run films. Our ships all feature staterooms above ocean level for a more comfortable cruise.
My cabin was on the 6th floor, forward, interior. Plenty of storage for 3 women who overpacked. I brought extra hangers which came in handy. Comfy for myself and my 2 adult daughters, but my youngest daughter who slept on the pull out bed from the ceiling told me it was really uncomfortable. My bed was great, fluffy and comfy... Nice size fridge..The cabin didnt have enough outlets though...one near the vanity and one in the bathroom. My advice is to bring a power cord, (my brother did this). If you want to go to bed early I would advise against this part of the ship as its above the theater. We could literally hear every single word and beat of every song while the show was going on. It really didnt matter to us as we never went to bed before 11pm and the shows were over before that. Our room steward Nurcholis was awesome and was there whenever we needed him! Having him clean our room just once a day was fine..He always gave us plenty of fresh towels, etc..One other observation..my oldest and her hubby were in 6203 (interior with a window out the front)...on several nights their cabin was very loud and rocky with banging noises all night. May want to avoid this group of cabins. Cool view though..straight out the front. My parents and brothers and nephew had balcony rooms near us..(6220 and 6342) worth the extra money!!! Quiet hallway. Loved how the dirty towels & unmade bed "magically" reappeared with clean, hung up towels & a made bed. Room cleaned couple times a day. LOVED the animal towels each night! =) Read entire member review >>
6404 is an unacceptable cabin, and the guest services had no issue admitting that this was a "problem" cabin due to nightclub noise. Many other cabin on deck 6 aft are also bad cabins Read entire member review >>
Cabin 6400 and any cabin nearby will be problematic. These cabins are over an entertainment lounge. Loud music all night until 1 am. Most passengers in that area complained about the loud music under ther cabin. Read entire member review >>
Interior cabins are really small and claustrophobic in my opinion. Spend the extra if you can and at least invest in a room with a window. Room 6256 is in close proximity to the Encore, so if there is a show, be prepared to hear it word for word in stereo surround sound without the visual LOL Read entire member review >>
The room was fine. Plenty of storage space. Carnival's robes are the best. They are nice and plush, and were hanging in our closet. There was only one hanger in the closet that has clips on it. I like more of these type of hangers for my skirts. I did request more from the cabin steward. He ended up finding me plastic ones rather than the wooden ones, no big deal, but I did find it odd that there was only one of these types of hangers. Every night there was a towel animal and chocolates on the pillow. Occasionally we did hear music from The Song on the deck below us, but it did not keep us awake. Yes there was a smell of sewage on deck six. I found it more in the middle of the ship while walking on the port side rather than the aft. Read entire member review >>
The room we stayed in, 6358 was right off the elevators in the middle of the ship and there was a sewage smell all week. We could hear the toilets flushing from all around us, neighbors TVs and several times it sounded like they were running a snake through the lines. So sleeping was almost impossible. All my cabin reviews are stated above:
THE CABINS TO STAY DEAFENTLY AWAY FROM WOULD BE THE ONE'S ON DECK 6 DIRECTLY OVER THE ENCORE LOUNGE! AND THE ONE'S DIRECTLY OVER THE CASINO SHOULD BE CONSIDERED ONE'S TO STAY AWAY FROM FOR SOME LIGHT SLEEPERS.
***Final Note the Music being played in the passage ways all the time day and night did bother my wife who is a light sleeper. Check the ships deck plan to view these cabin numbers! Read entire member review >>
