Don't Take this Cruise Conquest

Review for a Caribbean - All Cruise on Carnival Conquest

I agree with All the reviews of don't take this cruise for the following reason, briefly: 1. Food horrible 2. They do accessive charges on your card. 3. They change policies as you aboard, things are not within the contract. Subject to change quickly without notification. 4. Lines are long for the food service. 5. Rude. 6. No one is on the same page as duties entire. 7. ...

We chose this cruise because it was affordable for our group of 15. This was my 2nd cruise with Carnival, the last being 15 years ago. I've cruised 12 times and have tried the four popular cruise lines: Carnival, NCL, Princess and RCL. You know the saying, "you get what you pay for." Everything about this ship is CHEAP. The food was the worst I've ever had on a ship. This is the only ship that I ...

Fun, BUT

This was mine and my fiance's first ever cruise for the both of us. We really enjoyed the comedy shows, especially the big one the last night of sailing. The 'how to make towel animals' seminar was a fun little expo (special recognition to the gentleman who ran that event, he was really upbeat, cheerful, and funny). The dining experiences were really good and we loved our waiter(s), they were both ...

The only reason I am giving this 2 stars is because we had an Amazon cabin steward, the bar tenders at the Red Frog on the Lido Deck were friendly, and the manat the Java station knew my husbands name. The food in the dining room was good, and so was guys burgers. The food on the buffet was horrible and it was yhe same every night. The staff was rude and if you asked them where something was they ...

Horrible food

This was my first, and possibly last, cruise. The Good: 1) Excellent staff. Friendly, helpful and patient at all times. Even at 3am when I couldn't sleep that one night and wandering to the deck, I was greeted with a friendly smile and "Good Morning". 2) WAY comfortable beds. Except for one night, slept very well, even in 20-foot seas. The BAD: (brace yourself) 1) Food was pig ...

We booked this cruise for our anniversary 2 years prior & were SO excited. This is my 8th cruise and my husband’s 1st. It was underwhelming to say the least. The decor & design was tacky in the public rooms and the staterooms. The service was SO poor (besides in the atrium bar & dining room). The lido deck was superrrr tiny. The bartenders (especially on the lido deck) treated us like we were a ...

Outdated, drab, dingy- obsolete

Review for a Caribbean - Western Cruise on Carnival Magic

During my recent trip on the Carnival Magic ship, I found the decor and ambiance to be outdated, drab, and dingy. The carpet appeared old, and the bedding and curtains in the rooms were not up-to-date. The ship's entertainment, including the music selection, was not to my liking. The DJ played songs from the 80s and 90s almost exclusively, which was unexpected and did not feel current. I was ...

We chose a January 2024 cruise to get back in the cruising groove after having 2 cruises cancelled during Covid in 2020/2021. All excited to finally get back on a Carnival Cruise Ship we haven't been on, out of New Orleans. We had a wonderful day and a half in New Orleans, exploring the sights and sounds and food. We parked free at the cruise port with Florida Disabled Vet Plates and used ...

My husband, son and I just returned from a six day cruise on Carnival Magic. Let me start by saying this ship needs alot of upgrade starting with seating, cushioning worn and covered with stains along with carpet. It didn’t smell fresh. Secondly, we had balcony Deck 6 stain furniture and the windows must never get clean because you couldn’t see out your balcony same for the rest of the ship ...

Review for a Bahamas Cruise on Carnival Spirit

We wanted to see the Bahamas. The cruise left from Mobile, a very convenient port for us. Room was clean and comfortable. Steward did a great job. Food was way suboptimal. Not sure I have ever been on a cruise where the food was worse. Actually ate three times where I tried simple entrees or appetizers that were just awful. I have never left that much food on the plate. One bite was all it took. ...
