Great time but……

Review for a Bahamas Cruise on Carnival Legend

First Time Cruiser • Age 60s

My first time on a cruise and I picked Carnival legend. Had a balcony room. Paid for the cheers package wifi and gratuities all ahead of time. Just wanted to have a great vacation. I did have a great time. Enjoyed my “kiss on the lips” drinks at the bars. Was a regular on the second floor. Next time will just pay for my drinks not the package. I don’t drink that much. Entertainment was alright. ...

The ship itself was very nice, clean. The cruise on the other hand was a bit rocking heading to Cozumel. Which is why, I will say the service and food was a bit off from the usual, per previous sailings with Carnival. The dinner, even sea day brunch just eh this time around. The cabin, was an ocean suite and it was very nice and roomy. My wife and I enjoyed the closet space and she loved the tub. ...

Best food I've ever tasted

Review for a Caribbean - All Cruise on Carnival Magic

First time ever on Carnival. Been on RCCL 5 times over 24 years. The Magic has the best food not only in the dining room, but with Guy Fieri's Pig & Anchor BBQ and Emeril's signature dishes on every night's main dining room menu, this is the ship to eat!!! I never usually order 2 appetizers or entrees, but I did on this ship. Absolutely YUMMY! Entertainment was also top notch in the theater. ...

It is always good to be a sea. Here are a few things I wish I knew on this cruise. PARKING. Its been a few years (and maybe 40 cruises ago) we sailed out of Tampa. Thankfully we were close enough to drive. Frankly it is a bit confusing because the lots near the ship are not ship parking, they are for the aquarium. Do not attempt to park near the ship. The ship parking is a 4 story ...

I chose this weekend get away because that's what it was ... a weekend get away with a close dear friend. Embarkation at the new terminal was a breeze. From the time we entered the terminal to walking on board was maybe 15 minutes tops. We did the muster station and that took 3-4 minutes and then we were having lunch. I don't do buffets on any ships for personal reasons so lunch was at Blue ...

We just returned from our cruise on the Elation, over all it was ok but the food was awful.we had a suite which was very nice. This was my husband’s first cruise but I’ve cruised before. The entertainment could definitely need some help and the prices on the drinks was very high as expected. The crew was nice on and off the ship was a easy process and Gabe was awesome!Overall I asked my husband would ...

Back to back cruise!

Review for a Bahamas Cruise on Carnival Liberty

I chose this cruise because we could do back to back. My carnival cruise agent, Cristina, took care of all the details. We took the 3 day Bahamas cruise and then stayed aboard and went out on a 4 day Bahamas cruise seeing 3 different ports. We were able to stay in the same cabin which was awesome! We stopped at Bimini where we had a cabana at resort world. Our server was Anthony and took care of ...

Carnival Liberty , nice ship . A bit dated and lacking in a few areas but overall good value for the price . Food in the dining room was hit or miss. With some things excellent and other things not so much. Cabins were clean . Staff was great for the most part. Pizza was amazing! Casino was on the smaller side but still offered plenty of opportunities for those who participate . Build a bear ...

PERFECT MIX OF RELAXATION AND ADVENTURE

Review for a Caribbean - All Cruise on Carnival Legend

This was an Ultra cruise out of Baltimore. We chose it because we are gamblers and the port is only a five hour drive away. We stayed at Best Western in Baltimore only a few miles from the port. They offered a one night stay, full breakfast and two weeks free parking, with free shuttle to/from the port. Great deal. Embarkation went smoothly and we attended muster as we boarded and then went ...

Dear Carnival: keep the Miracle weird!

Review for a Mexican Riviera Cruise on Carnival Miracle

If you're considering this ship, the first thing you're looking at will most likely be its' oddball decor, and if I'm using Carnival-speak, it inspires "Fascination." The photos don't lie - you'll find giant bunches of grapes hanging from the ceiling in the main dining room, an entire clone army of "Horatios" (which appear to be Lord Horatio Nelson, of Battle of Trafalgar fame) on the walls in the ...
