Review for a Mexican Riviera Cruise on Carnival Miracle

I'm ok with Carnival, it's low cost, food is fine the staff have always been wonderful. Yeah the lack of classy types is a bit annoying, poeple bunping into you, feet up on the furniture, children running in the halls late hours. All I ask is that when the ship designates a dining room dress code they enforce it!! We like to dress for the dining experience yet look around and t-shirts, flip flops, ...

The PROS and CONS of the Carnival Liberty...

Review for a Bahamas Cruise on Carnival Liberty

This review is for the Carnival Liberty, 4-night cruise round trip from Cape Canaveral Florida. I have also made specific comments for cabin #6295. Note that this is an older ship so I will break out my comments into pros and cons. The PROS: The Liberty Rock Band plays great "danceable" music. Pizza Pirate makes the best pizza! Guy's burgers are awesome! The barbeque (upstairs ...

"Legend" was far from it! Lower your expectations and you will be fine...

Review for a Bermuda Cruise on Carnival Legend

We chose the Carnival Legend from Baltimore to Bermuda because it was only a 2 hour drive from NJ, the dates worked well for us, and we did not want to fly to a cruise port as we did previously. This is our 3rd time cruising on Carnival (we have also cruised Royal) and this ship would rank 3rd if we ranked all 3 Carnival ships we have been on. I guess the theme here is "lowered expectations". ...

A nine day "journey" cruise was interesting; Check-in: This was pleasant and easy. The agents were pleasant and welcoming at the port. Onboard: The staff from housekeeping, Food and beverage to entertainment wa excellent, with some notes The Punchliner Comedy club: Needs Improvement. With a diverse guest, there was NOT a single comedian of colour!! I would give a 2 ot five.. Room ...

Review for a Caribbean - Eastern Cruise on Carnival Glory

My Stateroom attendant Tony and Dining room Gusti Waiter was the best, I looked forward to seeing them everyday. They made my experience great. Although the food was not the best, i quickly learned to order over easy, hard fried or boiled eggs to get good ones. The scrambled eggs are horrible. on Lido, the pizza is horrible. Missing so many items I'm use to. The drinks were very watered down. ...

Past her prime

Review for a Bahamas Cruise on Carnival Sunshine

We choose a cruise out of Charleston so we did not have to fly to get to the port. We had sailed on another Carnival ship out of Charleston prior to Covid. We knew this was not a newer ship, but it was convenient. We opted for the aft facing suite which we've not had before. Bad idea! There were two rooms, one of which was practically useless except for the desk. The balcony was smaller than ...

Horrible boarding in New York

Review for a Caribbean - Eastern Cruise on Carnival Magic

We had an 8 person family group going to Bermuda for the first time. The boarding in Manhattan was a total disaster. We arrived 5 minutes before our scheduled block of time to get on the ship and were directed to a never ending line outside the building. We waited for over 2 hours on the dock walking on piles of pigeon droppings with no explanation from anyone what was going on. Finally one of ...

Just back from a 5-day Galveston to Costa Maya and Cozumel. Doing the homework is necessary, especially if you are a newbie cruiser. I've done 5 cruises across the cruise lines (mainly Carnival) and still did the homework, as it had been a while. Pros and cons in no particular order...forgive the rambling-Long post to follow: Get to town the day before!! I think it gets said plenty, but ...

Choose as an easy, kid-free, romantic getaway to celebrate a milestone birthday. Embarkation and debarkation at the Port of Tampa is a breeze, although walking directions from the garage to the ship are misleading. Our cabin (deck 4 oceanview) was perfect for 2 people for a 4 night cruise, very clean and cabin attendant was wonderful. Shower curtain is awful as expected. The stateroom fridge was ...

Review for a Alaska Cruise on Carnival Spirit

User Avatar

My family decided a cool weather getaway from the desert heat was a great idea. So, Alaska here we come on the Carnival Spirit. I must say I was quite disappointed with the ship. Ok, we last sailed on the Carnival Panorama, which is an amazing ship and I am not trying to compare the two. The Carnival Spirit has an inconsistent, indecisive décor. Art Deco meets Old Masters meets Greek ...
