Oceanview stateroom with a private balcony and twin beds that convert to a king. Every Carnival guest is assured of spacious, comfortable accommodations. All staterooms have carpeting, ample drawer and closet space, private facilities (shower, basin and toilet), telephone and color television showing first-run films. Our ships all feature staterooms above ocean level for a more comfortable cruise.
Carnival Destiny Cabin 7244. Cabin was smaller than it looked on website, but it met our needs. We had a balcony, which was big enough. We had the cabin next to my sisters so we were able to open the "door" between them and it was very spacious, we each had 2 chairs and a little table. I was glad we were on the 7th deck, we could occasionally hear the noise from the Lido deck, which was 3 floors up, but for the most part it was quiet. Read entire member review >>
Great balcony. Cabin was Aft port side. We were able to see coming and going off the ship. Being towards the back was very quiet. The cabin was nice and clean, but not extraordinary. But I liked it. Read entire member review >>
We had the four cabins at the very front of the ship on the 8th floor. Two balcony cabins and two interior. Our cabins were clean and comfortable. The steward kept us in clean towels. We could feel a little rocking, but we felt it all over the ship. On the balcony you can see into the captains area where they actually control the ship. This was fun for us. We noticed as we walked down the halls that the rooms near elevators must have been hot because those areas were warmer. Our end of the ship was nice and cool. The lido deck is one floor up and easy to run get coffee or go back and forth to the pool. I would stay in this room again. Read entire member review >>
Size was comparable to any balcony cabin. The closet had ample space for two people. If you are the type that likes to put all your clothes in drawers you might be in trouble. Only three drawers. Our location was deck 8 and near the back of the ship. The balcony was just OK with no aesthetic pleasantries. Our view was always great...no matter what time of day. We were pretty secluded and kept away from any noise. Read entire member review >>
I picked this cabin location because it looked like it had the optimum distance from just about everything, and I was right. No noise leaked from either the Lido or Promanade decks, as long as the doors were closed. Party night on the Lido made the balcony a little noisy, but it was far quieter than it would have been almost anywhere else. Read entire member review >>
The cabin being midship we had great access to stairs and elevators with the exception of some younger passengers who one day were being loud in the hall very quiet. In fairness when I stuck my head in the hall they looked at me and understood they were being loud. I once suffered being a man in my twenties so how upset can I be?
We were both amazed at the amount of storage space
The balcony was great
We have a memory foam mattress at home so we found the mattress a bit hard for our taste extra firm but I rather have that than too soft
Pictures of the cabin are available at Cruiselinerooms.com

Great storage space, good location for easy access to Lido Deck and fitness center. A little noisey at times when there is music in the atrium as this cabin is close to the elevators and open area. Read entire member review >>
No refrigerator- Nice tiny ice bucket!
Shower that failed to drain properly!
Electrical issues which included a call from the electrician because of a switch that sparked.
Light fixtures that did not function.
Air Conditioning that was controled from a manual lever on the ceiling to control the room temperature.
Television that does not include menu functionality. This did not allow the passengers to view dinner menus, order excursions or check their current onboard expenditure balances.
Excessive amounts of rust on balconies. Read entire member review >>
Cramped quarters,no storage space, great verandah. Our hallway was quiet except for the final night- we were across from the pool equipment closet and the machines kept us awake that night. This cabin would be good for two adults and perhaps one small child -definitely not for 3 tall adults. Read entire member review >>
Close to the atrium elevators as well as the regular elevators, across from a service closet so could be a bit noisy during hours the stewards were working, never a problem for us Read entire member review >>
