Carnival Cruise to Nowhere Reviews

Great meeting this guy, humble and transparent. He just knows what he's doing. As I said,if He is not your cruise activity director, just ask for a refund lol. He's that good.

Review for a Cruise to Nowhere Cruise on Carnival Glory

I always try to go on a yearly Carnival cruise to nowhere when they have it out of NYC. For years it was on the Miracle and every one was great except the last one in 2011 where the crew so obviously didn't give a sh.. it soured me a bit on Carnival. Last year they skipped this cruise for the first time in years but brought it back this year with the Glory. I am certainly glad they did. this time ...

This was our 4th CTN with 2 very recent ones on NCL Jewel and Gem, and Carnival Victory a few years back. Our 2 NCL CTN's were in the Winter, so this was a nice change taking a CTN in August as we spent the entire 2nd day at sea in the sun. Was very hard to find a lounge chair to sun due to the beautiful sunny weather and literally all 3,000 passengers were out there. Lets get the meat and ...

Cabin 2484 Cruise to Nowwhere

Just a short review as it was a short cruise. Carnival does the weekend "Cruise to Nowhere" out of Norfolk to round out the Glory' weekly calendar during it's Caribbean season (the ship goes up to Boston/Canada for the summer starting in June). The wife and I got a last minute deal on Cabin 2483, which is an ocean view at the very aft end of the ship. Two remarks for those trying to choose what ...

This was my eighth Carnival cruise, taken solely to help me achieve Platinum status this summer. I talked 4-5 people who were on the boat for the same reason. Positives - Blue Iguana Cantina (breakfast and lunch), Guy's Burger Joint, and the opposing bars on deck. Very cool setup that no other cruise line has. The burgers and burritos very good compared to typical buffet fare. The combination ...

Two night cruise to nowhere

My wife and I were driving home from our jobs in D.C. and heard on the radio that Carnival had a two night "Cruise to Nowhere" leaving Baltimore on the very next day. It seams that the Carnival Pride had to cancel it's regular run due to the big storm Hurricane Sandy. After the storm passed and with the ship just sitting there Carnival decided they would do a short two night cruise out to the end ...

Spirit Repositioning Cruise - San Diego to Vancouver 4/28/12

I never do this, but I flew into San Diego the morning of the cruise. I arrived at 10:15 AM. I was meeting my cousin who arrived in CA two days earlier. Because of the extremely low rates for this repositioning cruise, we each booked our own cabin. Originally we booked 4K interior with French doors, but due to price drops we were able to upgrade for very little cost to these adjoining balcony ...

My boyfriend and I took a 2 night cruise to nowhere on the Carnival Miracle. We met on the same ship a year ago and thought it would be a fun idea to go back to where it all started! We were both nervous that it wouldn't be the same as a longer cruise (shows, amount of food, activities) and that we would be bored. Both of us are in our late 20's so it was important that we had things to do. ...

Getting to the port was easy as it was just a cab ride from home... Okay maybe not so easy as it was during the week and traffic was a still an issue. Not to mention that I was blessed with a cabbie that made me regret not having taken out travel insurance. But eventually Mario got me to the Port of Vancouver safe and sound. Going through immigration I saw that fellow friends and cruisers were ...

2 day cruise to relaxation!

Booked this little two-day cruise-to-nowhere as a get away from the hustle 'n' bustle and it was just what the doctor ordered. It was me and another female friend getting away for the weekend. Our second 2-day cruise (first was a Carnival out of NYC back in 2005 or so.) We take the Metro from CT to Grand Central and then a $10 cab ride to the pier. Getting there is so easy in NYC - not my ...

Upon arrival at the NYC terminal, we got through security and check-in quickly, then there was a long line to get onto the ship. Maybe 40 minutes from the time we got to the port to being onboard which isn't bad at all. It was a bit strange to board at deck Zero instead of into a beautiful atrium, but we got a ground view of the cove balcony cabins which looked cool from the outside. We ...
