Carnival Cruise to Nowhere Reviews

Great meeting this guy, humble and transparent. He just knows what he's doing. As I said,if He is not your cruise activity director, just ask for a refund lol. He's that good.

Review for a Cruise to Nowhere Cruise on Carnival Splendor

This is our 5th cruise with Carnival and it will probably be our last. Sad to say because the Cruises to Nowhere fit our schedule as well as our budget. I'm not the type of person to complain if there weren't any chocolates left on my pillow or anything like that so take this as an honest review. We received an email that they are trying something new---staggered check-in and to arrive between ...

Nothing Worked

This was a short 2 Night Cruise to Nowhere that was available due to the full week cruise being cancelled due to Hurricane Sandy. We had 3 cabins, which all had the exact same problems. The in-cabin phones were down the whole cruise, making it hard to report the following other issues. On day 1 and 3, the toilets were down for 15-20 minutes. On day 2, the toilets were down for about 3 hours. ...

From Cozumel to Nowhere!

Review for a Cruise to Nowhere Cruise on Carnival Elation

I realize I'm reviewing a 2 year old cruise, but that's the last cruise we went on! The Elation needs to be refurbished! We were scheduled to to depart on August 29, but a hurricane changed that! This was a first cruise for my dad (and apparently his last)! We were supposed to go to Cozumel but were only able to sail out to sea and back since days were cut from cruise. For the most part, it was a ...

This trip was not a Miracle.

I got off my 5th annual Carnival Miracle cruise to nowhere this morning and while most details are fresh I want to jot down the perverbial good, bad and ugly. As I just said this was my 5th tear in a row taking this cruise - same ship - same cabin. The first 3 years were fantastic - 5 stars. Last year a few problems but manageable. This trip was a major letdown. First I would like to say that ...

This review is for the ship "Ecstasy" with Carnival Cruise Lines. Since the port in Galveston was closed due to fog and we did not make it to Mexico, I can only give tips that are useful while on the ship. This is a "fun" ship which means if you like to party (drink & dance) and/or have children then this is the ship for you. Following are some tips that might make your sail easier: ...

We Dreamed a Dream on the Dream....not!

Hi, Here is my experience. I hope it helps others. We arrived at the port at 11am and by 1140 am we were on the ship. My sister needed Special Assistance so we were one of the very first on board. We did have to walk total of 15 to 20 minutes. My sister must use a cane and we all were not happy at the distance to the point of entry. It truly was far...and mind you we had to carry our own ...

This was a three night cruise from Dover to Amsterdam and back again. Getting on and off the Ship at Dover was very quick and hassle free. Taxis to and from the railway station were plentiful. The Ship was sparkling. This was its inaugural cruise having arrived from Genoa. For some reason that cruise to Dover wasn't considered inaugural. I missed the naming ceremony but I was told it was very ...

Although there was a storm coming, I was excited to go on this short trip to Ensenada. I wasn't sure how the weather would be but I was still game. We got there and was checking in. Unfortunately, we got someone who was in training. It took forever. Although she was very nice, she did not have enough training and had to ask her supervisor every little thing. We finally got on board and check out ...

My DH and myself live in NY and love the option of cruising from NYC. We have sailed on the EOS out of Cape Liberty and it was the most memorable cruise for our big family of 8. We needed a long weekend getaway and decided on the Carnival Cruise To Nowhere on the Miracle. We have done the Cruise To Nowhere before and we had a wonderful time. Embarkation: After cruising out of Miami and Port ...

Other than the Carnival Paradise, this (our 19th cruise, the third on Carnival), was the poorest one we've been on. EMBARKATION To start off, when we got to the airport in Honolulu, there wasn't a Carnival person in sight. Finally, one woman had an airport information staff call Carnival to see where their greet staff were located. A large group of us were waiting at one of baggage carousels, ...
