Review for a Caribbean - Western Cruise on Carnival Conquest

3rd carnival cruise, 2nd time this same ship and itinerary (went with group this time), and first post pandemic. Was disappointed with food. Buffet was same as dinning room, very limited diversity. We don't drink alcohol and generally only drink iced tea and water. The tea and lemonade was disgusting, how do you screw those up? Coffee and hot cocoa in buffet rooms were brown water. ...

I have been on a number of cruises, but this was the worst. The ship was about 4 hours late in arriving. Then we had to mingle at the port for an hour or more before starting to board. After that, they herded us to a large area on the ship where we sat shoulder to shoulder for hours while they disembarked the previous passengers. Then we were rushed to our assigned muster station for emergency ...

NOT THE CRUISE LINE TO TAKE

The ship overall looks old and the decorations are cheesy and tacky. The art hanging on the walls in the main gallery area have broken frames. Their suites are small. The dining rooms served a lobster dinner that totaled 4 bite and we had to go up to the Lido deck to actually have dinner .As for entertainment, only four singer, but.eight performers, everyone should have at least one song in ...

This was my third cruise (after Norwegian and Celebrity) and my kids' first cruise in honor of high school and middle school graduations. Such a huge disappointment. The food was ok - don't bother with the buffet for literally anything, ever. The burgers and pizza weren't bad. The steakhouse was ok but not worth $35/person. The restaurant was ok... our server was actually great but the food was ...

I just want to start out by saying that I am NOT hard to please, but I truly had an awful experience. Everything was rushed, and disorganized. We weren’t on time to ports or excursions. The process to get to excursions and ports was intense, stressful, and confusing. We were waiting in line for an excursion in Belize when a crew member literally spoke in to a radio “this is a mess.” The food was ...

Terrible Food and Overcrowded

The Carnival Cruise Line has gone downhill! Our steward Gregson, however was amazing, very professional and enthusiastic, but that is it! The food was very poor, tasted like school lunch food, actually worse than school food, and the ship was overcrowded. If your looking for a drinking party ship this is the ship for you!! If you want to sit outside get used to people laying their stuff all ...

I chose this cruise because we were getting married on the ship. The price and location was perfect for us. The wedding dept was top notch, everything was perfect. The ship however was much less desirable. In the dining room they served the same meal twice, so the variety was not there like the past 9 cruises. I had raved about the dinners and the selection of foods and all 20 of my party was ...

We took this cruise for our 52 wedding anniversary, We have been on over 30 cruises with different cruise lines, this one was a disaster from beginning to end .the embarking was to slow ,we had to wait outside in sun in 95 degrees for over 20 minutes before we even got inside in A/C. To few screeners and people to handle the passengers. The terminal looked like it was to small for all the ...

We took this cruise to celebrate my birthday and family reunion. To my surprise, being this our 7 th cruise, it was the worse cruise that we ever taken. The ship is all rustic and dirty, it looks like it is time to put it to away, but not to get People to pay so much money for nothing. In my group ( I took 28 persons) some of them first time travelers, they were so disappointed that they said ...

I am shocked that people actually consider a cruise a vacation. From start to finish, the whole thing was stressful. In order to get on the boat, you have to wait in multiple long lines and then wait until your # is called to board the ship. Once you get on the boat, you can't access the rooms because they haven't been completely cleaned yet so you're forced to wade through the congestion of ...
