I know everyone is entitled to their opinions and so I always read reviews with an open mind and then I like to go back and give my experience based on my travels with the cruise line. This was our 9th Carnival Cruise. To be honest we are 15 days away from Platinum so that is our goal.
Embarkation was swift and easy. This was our first VIP entrance since we were staying in a suite - and ...
Chose the cruise due to the western Caribbean destinations(Grand Cayman, curaçao, Belize and Cozumel). The conquest, although less than 20 years old, was old and tired. Very few fun activities to do on deck. Pools packed and small.
30 minute lines in the buffet. Dry beef and too many spicy ethnic foods. Buffets closed down early. If you wanted food after hours or between excursions you ...
Daughters Honeymoon Cruise, there was a total of 16 of us that went on the trip. This was my 3rd time on the Conquest. Not my favorite ship, but a good ship. The food was great, the service in the main dining room was awesome. Food at the Buffet was acceptable. Our room was clean, but the bathroom toilet was showing its age and a little smelly. Had a problem with the shower, it was ...
I loved this cruise. My husband and I went for our 30th anniversary. Some things about it seemed a little old school but we enjoyed spending most of our time out on the deck when we weren’t on an excursion. The buffet was ok. The 24 hr pizza and the deli were excellent. The dining room options had some good higher end options. The staff was always friendly and very helpful. The outdoor movies ...
All I can say is wow , this was an amazing cruise. The staff on the Conquest especially Felix Lictawa was so polite, gracious, helpful attentive to all your needs. I felt like I was rich for 7 days. A staff that was professional at every thing they did. The food at every restaurant was delicious especially in the former dining room, I really felt like the rich and famous because that's how my ...
The crew was happy and helpful! They must have great bosses! Our waiters Vergel and Junrey were exceptional. We went to Chef’s table and had an amazing time! Rosann took care of our cabin and made each day perfect! I can’t say enough about the Entertainment crew, Lee had us groovin, Adele was super fun!
Jackpot Jake was the best! What I can’t believe is how they all remembered our names. I ...
Hello all Cruisers:
Let me start by saying that this is not my first cruise. However, it was my first cruise with Carnival.
Ship: Very old ship and in need of a renovation. Throughout the ship were humidifiers lining the halls for all the moisture from leaks. The ship design also did not allow from easy access to some common areas so it was a bit tedious getting from one place to the ...
We stayed in Miami overnight before the cruise and explored the city some, then went to the terminal the next day.
Embarkation was a fairly quick and fluid process. We were on the ship within an hour of getting through security despite being in group C. Disembarkation took abit longer but that was simply due to having a late number more then anything, once our number was called it was smooth ...
Overall a good cruise. Embarkation was a breeze, only took about 30 minutes max from unloading to walking on board. Waited until about 12:15 to show up, and at looked like most folks had already gotten on board and the lines were short.
Enjoyed the Punchliner comedy club (especially Mike E Winfield) and the deck top movies. Lots of room to sit under the stars.
Biggest disappointment was ...
Decided to take my boyfriend on a 7-day cruise with the Carnival Conquest. This trip was our first cruise & did not disappoint! Everything was convenient and well planned out. We only brought a carry on bag each but checked it in when we embarked the cruise. I originally read nightmare reviews about avoiding the Lido buffet during embarkation, but it was wonderful. We both ate & by the time we ...
