We went with a group of 58 from our community. We do not normally sail Carnival as we are not big fans.
I must say I was surprised by a few things. 1) When we were able to access our cabin, one piece of luggage was waiting for us!! This is the first time since we started cruising is 2002 that luggage was waiting for US. The second piece came about 20 minutes after the first piece. 2) The ...
I go with the best price and itinerary. I have sailed with most other lines, first time with Carnival. I have avoided them because I am not a big party person. The ship was nice, a lot of brown decor I don't care for brown. But the food, the service and the entertainment was about the same as with the others I have cruised with. The entertainment was a bit different, they had the song and dance ...
We normally take a cruise for either Christmas of New Years so we have certain dates we are off work. This was going out on 12/28 so worked for our schedule perfectly. We have been on the Conquest a few years back and thought we'd give it another try.
Getting onto the ship we had been assigned 12-12:30 timeframes. We took the shuttle over and dropped off the luggage and got right inside ...
We are platinum cruisers and just finished our 19th cruise yesterday. We chose this cruise because we liked the itinerary and wanted to take our 12 year old granddaughter on it. The ship itself is okay...needs a little TLC...but that didn't bother us. Our evening dining experience was good and our wait staff was excellent as was our cabin crew. However, we feel CARNIVAL has lowered its ...
We were on a 2 week back to back Ultra casino cruise, starting the first week on a western cruise followed by a week in the eastern Caribbean cruise.
I want to say this cruise had a lot of surprises that were positive.
I'll start out with the shows, we were extremely pleased with the quality of the singing, and the dancing! It showed this group had put in a lot of time practicing!
The ...
I am going to preface this review by saying my wife and I are gold card cruisers with Carnival and this is our 5th with them. We are super easy to get along with and are some of the most non picky eaters known to man. We hopefully are customers that Carnival would want to retain and keep going on their cruises.
I waited until I spoke to someone at Carnival about the issues I will be writing ...
This was the second week of our Back-to-Back on the Conquest. We love the crew, especially our room stewards, Dan and Muzaki! They did an outstanding job both weeks as they cared for our cabin and requests. The waiters in the Monet Main Dining Room were excellent. Sherwin, Wendell, and Leila made every evening special. All of the wait staff in the Monet were great at breakfast and brunch also. ...
I came back to Carnival after almost 10 years. I am a Platinum Guest. The priority boarding was the best part of the cruise. The ship is showing its age. I dislike the way they went with their entertainment. No reggae band. Just a guy playing a steal drum to canned music. They have too many rug rats on board. They run around free even in the adult areas. The food has gone downhill ...
The ship overall looks old and the decorations are cheesy and tacky. The art hanging on the walls in the main gallery area have broken frames. Their suites are small. The dining rooms served a lobster dinner that totaled 4 bite and we had to go up to the Lido deck to actually have dinner .As for entertainment, only four singer, but.eight performers, everyone should have at least one song in ...
Booked this cruise because of the low price for an inside cabin. Recognizing that Conquest is an older ship lacking many bells and whistles, I realized that some wear and tear may be present; however, filth is another matter entirely.
The floors of the lido buffet were consistently sticky, slippery, and visibly dirty, regardless of the time of day. Grime was visible on all elevator buttons ...
