After many years since my last cruise, my new husband and I decided it was time for him to experience his first cruise.
We chose the Conquest because the itinerary fit our schedule. We also chose the conquest for it's size, and the deal we got on this sailing.
We were booked for an Ocean Suite, but the upgrade fairy put us in a Grand Suite. We took advantage of the perks that come with a ...
Sooo I really wanted to go on an RCL cruise, but my mother picked Carnival for our mini Mother/Daughter getaway. Both had an identical itinerary option for a short weekend trip to Nassau but Carnival was a lot cheaper. I really wish we would have shelled out the extra $100 per person for RCL. (Our suite on Carnival was $100 less than a standard balcony would have been on RCL)

I came back to Carnival after almost 10 years. I am a Platinum Guest. The priority boarding was the best part of the cruise. The ship is showing its age. I dislike the way they went with their entertainment. No reggae band. Just a guy playing a steal drum to canned music. They have too many rug rats on board. They run around free even in the adult areas. The food has gone downhill ...
First off to give some perspective, we have sailed maybe 25 times. We're obviously not first timers but we also have some relative experience with different lines. We have sailed Celebrity, Princess, Royal Caribbean, Norwegian and Carnival lines. We have stayed in Suites, Balconies, Oceanviews and Inside Cabins. We chose the Carnival Conquest primarily for the ports but also the holidays and ...
We enjoy going on cruises over the week of Thanksgiving. We found this cruise and thought it would be a good choice for our family. We've never cruised on Carnival before so we thought we would try it. We've decided Carnival is not the cruise line for our family. I recognize that a lot of families were traveling but the cruise was overrun with kids off all ages. Most were not well behaved and were ...
We chose this cruise because we had never visited the ports. Also, we have enjoyed Carnival ships in the past. Embarkation was easy and we were on board in just a few minutes. Cabin was clean and our steward started out with exceptional service. The main dining room was a disappointment, both service and food. Neither was up to expectations of previous cruises.Room service was a joke and never had ...
I really enjoyed everything on my cruise except the excursion to Grand Turk. We took the tour of the island in an open air bus. We were taken through the island and witnessed the destruction left by last year’s hurricanes. Most unpleasant was the donkey poop everywhere on the island. Other than that our cruise was wonderful. Excellent attentive staff throughout the ship. Great food and ...
Had a family reunion. My room attendant Ms Desra was the best . She was very detailed with everything and even help with my baby signing and dancing in the room . So nice . My dad and mom both greatful for showing them how to use the items in the room she gave us free water and my mom loved that . Down side service in the dinner was not great that did not actually accommodate my family of 30 ...
We chose this cruise because we wanted to get on the islands we had not been on. The 5 day was perfect for us because we can't really gone more than this. The ship was in good condition. I have seen reviews here where things were not good. The dry dock times that the ship has been in, has helped allot. The reviewers complained about the food, However, The food was good, since we are not a picky ...
This was our 7th cruise on Carnival but our first in a little over a year. The new embarkation system is amazingly fast. The security person takes a picture of your passport picture and you are headed to the ship. Your boarding pass takes the place of your sign and sail card until your room is ready at 1:30 pm. Card are waiting in you mail holder outside your cabin door.
Conquest is an ...
