Cabin was clean and comfortable. Closets and drawers provided adequate storage. Bathroom was small but did the job! TV was nice but rarely watched. Loved our balcony and appreciated the daily towel animals. Read entire member review >>
Very good as far as ship cabins go. Don't remember for sure what category we had, but this was an old ship so things were OK. Out room steward, Kokoa, was terrific, plus his helpers. He needs to be rewarded for his outstanding service. It's so nice when he remembers your name every time he sees you. We enjoyed our room service in the mornings. Read entire member review >>
Standard 4 person balcony. Port side-forward. Nice access to a quiet large balcony on the front of the ship that few use. Good for star gazing, etc. No complaints on room, comfort, amenities, noise, access, location, etc. Would recommend. Read entire member review >>
Refrigerator door fell off and after telling the stateroom guy, never got fixed. Woke up to a cold shower on one day. Other day all water was cut off for routine work. Shouldn't this be done while ship is in home port instead of putting its customers out like this? Read entire member review >>
We had two adjoining balcony rooms. When we registered, we were told that the divider could be removed/pushed back between the two balconies. That is only true for certain rooms and certain balconies. We were not able to adjust our divider. Read entire member review >>
We had cabin 1046 on the Panorama Deck (Deck 10). Typical Carnival cabin. We like sleeping with the balcony door open to hear the ocean. We also take a balcony room so we can work on our overall tan when the sun is on our side of the ship. The room was quite and the steward was very efficient - the room was always made-up promptly. This was a typical Carnival balcony cabin. Plenty of storage. Only one electrical outlet though *(except for the one in the bathroom for shavers) - so if you need more than one outlet bring a power strip. I've read this in other reviews but forgot to do it, Great location - on the 7th deck so cabins above and below you - no restaurants, clubs, gyms, etc. to hear. Also only steps away from the aft stairwell so very convenient to go down for all the activities or up to the Lido for the pool and the buffet.
Cabin steward was great and kept everything in top shape - and always seemed to know when the best time to come was because we rarely saw him except passing him in the halls. We had service morning and night - there was no option to only have one service that I have read about. Read entire member review >>
We had a balcony cabin. It was good. We would have liked to have our divider open because part of our party was in the cabin next to ours but the Cabin Steward said they couldn't open the dividers. Read entire member review >>
Perfectly fine amount of space for two people. Plenty of closet and drawer space. Couch, occasional table, footstool, counter space, balcony, etc. Remote for the TV is a bit tricky, but who is watching the TV, right? Read entire member review >>
Our room was comfortable and there was plenty of room for all of our clothes in the closet and drawers. The bathroom was very roomy. I liked the shower gel and shampoo dispenser. The balcony was nice. Loved sitting out there when we were arriving and leaving port and in the early morning opening the door and getting awesome sunrise pictures. I've been on 3 cruises and have always had a balcony. Read entire member review >>
Our room was very nice. Our cabin steward Francis was wonderful. He called us by name and was so friendly. My daughter really enjoyed the towel animals each evening he would leave for her. Read entire member review >>
The cabin itself was well designed and spacious. The balcony was wonderful, other than I forgot about my vertigo and had to sit on the edge of the bed. The bed was firm and very comfortable. The only reason I gave the cabin a rating of "1" is there was no chair with a back on it in the cabin. The spare bed, made up like a couch, was to wide and the back sloped so you could not sit upright. I was forced to bring the balcony chair into the room to sit. Read entire member review >>
Great Location. Loved balcony and being just few steps from being out on the deck overlooking pools on Lido deck. Had king size bed and couch that made into bed and pull down bed from ceiling - sons both age 14 slept on these. Was very close to "glass" elevators overlooking atrium, but noise was never a problem. Best cabin I have ever had. Location, location, location. Lido deck cabin made it very easy to get chairs by the pool, get breakfast in morning to bring back and eat on the deck. Read entire member review >>
We were in Room 8412 on the Carnival Conquest. We did not book early enough to pick our room, so we were stuck with what they assigned us. We had been told to be careful getting a room under a restaurant or pool area. Well...there we were....directly under the buffet restaurant and adult-only pool. We had NO PROBLEMS whatsoever! Occasionally we'd hear a food cart rolling across the floor (our ceiling), but I slept like a baby and so did my husband. The hallway was very quiet too. The balcony was the best purchase decision we ever made! We will never cruise without a balcony room! Hairdryer IS provided, but is kind of hidden in a drawer in front of the vanity in the room. I got VERY nervous when I couldn't find it in the bathroom. Nice room, nice location. Read entire member review >>
Had 8301, 8305 and 8309. All were great location and with the exception of the family across the hall allowing their 18 year olds to drink to excess in Jamaica and Grand Cayman (so they made an ass of themselves by fighting, arguing and throwing up all over the place), the rooms were great.
Great storage and about half-way down the hall from the fore and mid elevators. Great access to Lido. Read entire member review >>
We had cabin 1058 on Deck 10 and while we found that the beds we a little too close together (there was little room to walk through) it is still a room that we would consider booking again. We had plenty of closet room for the clothes we brought and the bathroom was a good size for two people. Read entire member review >>
Our room was just off the Lido Deck with a Balcony. We loved the location! It was convienient for anywhere you wanted to go on the boat, especially at night when you got a little hungry! The room had 3 closets with shelving, 4 drawers, a couple of cabinets, and a mini bar. I recommend having them unlock your mini bar even if you think you won't use it. We used it to keep our wine and drinks cold. Read entire member review >>
Get the balcony and get a higher deck. We left our cabin door open at night and it felt and sounded like we were sleeping in an oceanfront condo with the waves crashing. The bed was SO comfortable that it was almost unbelievable. We were on deck ten which was great - only something like 50 cabins on the deck and it's opposite the pool deck. At first I was worried about noise but we never really heard a thing, and it was nice being so close to the pool deck for running back and forth to the room. Read entire member review >>
