Not worth the savings.

Review for a Caribbean - Southern Cruise on Carnival Valor

We chose this cruise for two reasons, cost of 11 people and 5 cabins. Our last experience with Carnival in 2010 was extremely disappointing. We chose a park and ride which saved us almost half of on site parking. Embarkation was smooth and efficient. Disembarkation, however, was like being on the Long Island Expressway at rush hour in the rain. The Valor is consistent to any "bargain" motel. ...

Great cruise and outstanding Grand Suite

The cruise was very good but the Grand Suite 7289 was the best. Could make you spoiled in this room type. Our room steward Francis was the best. He took care of us each day and was always available for us. The first two comics were very good but the last two were so so. The dinners were good and the steak house was outstanding. Shore excursions were good and the weather was good. Snorkeling ...

Carnival conquest class ship, embarkation port canaveral florida. Beautiful day for cruising with friends and family. we started off by having bloody marys at the time out lounge. Ok it’s not only a drink it’s a meal. i had shrimp, egg, sausage, meat balls, waffles, celery with slim gym, and olive for my basic support items. Looks like mikey mouse. After that wonderful breakfast we ...

50th Anniversary Cruise

This was our 14th cruise with Carnival, and was the most enjoyable. My bride of 50 years, and I were accompanied by our daughter, son-in-law and 6 year old granddaughter . Canaveral was the quickest and easiest boarding we have experienced. I paid for parking over the net, so I only had to show the attendant my receipt, the a short walk to check in. We went directly to our rooms, ...

Predictable Carnival Cruise

My husband and I booked this cruise as a getaway for just the two of us away from our 4 teenage children. We are platinum members but have only departed from Port Canaveral once before. It was very easy to get to the port and the parking was convenient with minimal walking. The boarding area was the usual cattle call but it moved along quickly. From the time we entered the building ...

Disappointed

We chose this cruise because of the itinerary. The cruise was a celebration of multiple anniversaries and a graduation; there was a total of 14 in our group. We are experienced cruisers, many of us are gold level VIFP. We were quite disappointed in the steakhouse experience as well as the food in the main dining room. We usually eat in the dining room for breakfast as well as dinner; not this ...

Wonderful cabin...................poor food.

While our cabin was fantastic the food was on the other end of the scale. Every evening we were given the choice of numerous entrees, none of which were desirable. This was our first cruise with Carnival and will be our last. Previously we cruised with Royal Caribbean and were always happy with both our cabins and our meals. Each evening on RC we were treated to entrees we found hard to pick from ...

Carnival Valor

Review for a Caribbean - Eastern Cruise on Carnival Valor

For the amount of people involved in embarkation and debarkation I thought Carnival did a good job. Lines were short and counter people were experienced and very professional. Once on board we found our upgraded cabin in the stern of the ship smaller than advertised. We will take this up with Carnival at a latter date. Our Cabin attendant Luis was excellent. He kept our room and bath clean and ...

This was our 14th cruise with Carnival and our 1st time on Valor. Although the ship is a little old itself the updates were definitely an added plus! Guy's Burgers is fantastic! the ports we visited were beautiful and we highly recommend "Bernard's Tours" in St. Maarteen. Our guide was David Taylor and he did a remarkable job.So much info on the island, free drinks which included diet sodas ...

I just returned from a 8 day cruise with Carnival valor. I payed to visit St. Maarten, St. Kitts, Puerto Rico and Grand Turks. I only got to see three of the four I payed for, and was only reimbursed $15.00. Granted the trip turned out to be during Hurricane Matthew, but it seemed as if other Carnival Cruises still saw Grand Turks. After arriving at Grand Turks, and seeing other ships at port, the ...
