We were able to leave from Charleston which is close to where we live. The main dining room food was very poor even though my husband and I are not fussy eaters. The best piece of meat I had the whole cruise was a steak I paid an extra $25 for. "Specialty"restaurants were a joke. They were the same restaurants we ate in during the day.
Then they put tablecloths on the tables, charged you ...
Having cruised on another Carnival ship and it being OK ( not over the top but OK), we decided to book this cruise specifically because my sister wanted to go to Grand Turk. We cruise about 1 x every 2 years. This ship and staff does not need to be in service. The only good thing was Mikey the cruise director. The ship was really dirty ( dust everywhere, smelled like feces on many floors including ...
First of all, I must say that our cabin steward was an absolute sweetheart. Many of the ship crew were also great. The downfall is that the ship is old and small. The metal around the decks is painted over eaten away steel. We found holes throughout the railings. The carpets throughout are old and many sofa/restaurant bench upholstery have stains. There is a peculiar smell about the ship. ...
We chose this cruise for the intinerary and our first 8 day. But this ship is terribly over crowded and badly redesigned.
When they refurbished this ship in 2013 they added more cabins, removed a pool and added huge slides on top in back. So very unstable and rocky in only 6 - 8 foot swells.
On fun days at sea it was terrible, we could not even get a lounge chair anywhere in the adult ...
I have cruised with Carnival a number of times. This was to be my big 60 birthday cruise. I can go out of Baltimore but decided to try the Sunshine, plus it was a premiere cruise. What a total disappointment. The staff is way over worked and this is why things are not up to standard of Carnival ( surely not the fault of the staff). I run a hotel and know that service is effected by a over worked ...
Every year I have booked a cruise through Carnival and I always recommend the cruise line to my friends/colleagues however after the cruise that I took on November 2nd to Aruba, I will probably cancel my 2019 cruise that I have booked. The experience started with extremely large groups of people that taunted your guests, played explicit music, beat their girlfriends, fought with people at the port ...
Hello everyone. I want you to think twice before booking a cruise with Carnival Cruise Line. I recently cruised with them for the first time on 11/2/18 on the Carnival Sunshine. It was my wife’s and I honeymoon. We got married last year and booked the cruise back in March but could not cruise until November because we are on a strict budget. The cruise was good until we woke up on our 3rd morning. ...
I have cruised over 20x including carnival, royal and ncl. My new bride has never cruised and I wanted to try a cruise with her to see if she would like it and be ok with sailing with the idea we would book a Mediterranean cruise if she did enjoy cruising. I assured her these new large ships were safe and enjoyable, I explained the food was good etc.... Forward to the Sunshine, the most horrific ...
we made the news, ship was NOT serviced..total chaos!! quite a few injuries on-board, the ship did a lean and EVERYTHING and EVERYbody went flying.. literally !! NEVER again!! this ship was HORRIBLE. food in the dining room was cold and bland cramped cabins you would think ypu would have more room in a balcony NOT.. no AC for 2 days!! we had to call customer service and maintenance twice we ...
I love to cruise and we were very excited to go on the sunshine. This is the worse cruise I have ever been on . The sunshine needs a lot of work. Due to electrical problems we did not make it to grand Turk which have us two back to back boring sea days. The cruise director said that they were working hard to provide activities but they did not . I have never been so bored on a cruise. The staff ...
