Great Service...Great Destination!

Review for a Hawaii Cruise on Carnival Miracle

We chose this cruise for the length (15 Days) and the destination (Hawaii). Boarding the ship in San Diego was extremely organized, once you got through security. The security line was pretty much a free-for-all. I read reviews about the ship being in bad shape. Yes, it's an older ship that was weeks away from dry dock, but the ship was in great shape! Very clean and all public areas were in ...

Although an older ship due for dry dock, the Miracle was still a lovely, clean, and inviting ship to be on. (I do hope that they replace the mattresses in the cabins, though, during the dry dock. They weren't very comfortable). The crew was amazing--helpful to elderly and disabled and very friendly and accommodating. The activities and entertainment was varied and enjoyable. Some of the ...

Hawaii Journey-14 days

Review for a Hawaii Cruise on Carnival Miracle

14 days to Hawaii- Lots of sea days, but they had activities. If no activity you slept, ate, read, gambled, drank, swam, sunbathed, or people watched. Ports---Hilo, Honolulu, and Maui were fine and we got to see what we wanted in our rental car. Hilo and Maui were industrial ports so nothing was near by the port. The shore excursions were more expensive over the Caribbean and Mexican Rivera ...

We wanted to visit Hawaii without a long flight over to the islands. This was a 15 day "Journeys" cruise out of Long Beach California. There were 4 sea days before the islands as well as 4 after. We enjoyed all the special activities that Carnival had planned for those sea days. There were dance lessons, including hula, island crafts classes, seminars, cooking demonstrations & too much more to ...

We chose this cruise mainly for the itinerary and not wanting to fly all the way to Hawaii. We stayed on the Queen Mary the night before in Long Beach which was great. The port was well organized and we didn't have to wait long to board. We did have priority boarding because we had a suite. The ship is a bit dated and a little shabby but we really enjoyed the trip overall. We met some amazing ...

We spent our pre-cruise night at Best Western of Long Beach. The stay there was compliments of our travel agency, CompanionShips. There were many cruisers staying there as they provide free shuttle service to the port. Another thanks to CompanionShips for recognition of our 43rd wedding anniversary. The Dining Room staff sang and brought us a heart-shaped cake on the first Elegant Night! Very nice ...

We took this cruise to celebrate our 50th Wedding anniversary. I am so glad we did. This was our 8th cruise with Carnival and it did not disappoint. We had blast meeting new friends and singing in the Piano Bar with Elizabeth (She was Fantastic). We toured Pearl Harbor which was a real moving experience. I can't say much about the food because my wife and I agreed to not make this trip all about ...

This was my second Carnival cruise. I had, overall, a good time and I will start with the good from this cruise. The staff was incredibly friendly and seemed to be everywhere. Jaime, the Cruise Director was fantastic. I am retired USAF, and the military program one afternoon was memorable. Many vets I saw were in tears. Possibly due to the itinerary which included Honolulu, there were an ...

Nice ship for a Hawaii Journeys Cruise

Hawaii was the final state for us to visit. We signed up for this cruise on a previous Carnival cruise and got $250 on board credit, plus $250 for being a stockholder! The 4 sea days going to Hawaii did not seem as long as the 4 sea days coming back. This was a 15 day cruise, so we were starting to get "cruised out" and our last stop was Ensenada before returning to Long Beach. The Miracle is well ...
