Embarcation: Got to NYC around 10:30, was assigned group 2. We were on the ship by 12:00. No problems, orderly and quick. The cruise terminal was cold. Once on the ship went to Lido for lunch. By 1:45 our cabin was ready.

My group was al excited by this latest cruise. We also got such a bargain for the 8 day cruise on the Carnival Miracle from NYC! We stayed in a balcony room. As always when 1st boarding, the dining buffet area is where you get sent and it is always crowded. 8 day cruise from NYC to port canaveral, nassau and freeport. This is not a cruise for the itinerary. Port canaveral has very limited options. but chance to get off the ship. Been to Nassau and Freeport several times before, so that was ho-hum as well,but at least a change of pace from sea days.

This is a nice sized boat with tons of little quiet areas to sit and read, play cards or have a cocktail .
The comedians were funny and the shows were pretty good.

This was my fifth cruise and my third on Carnival. So far, Carnival is by far my favorite cruise line. I have never written a review before, and I decided to now because I am tired of hearing and reading complaints about it being a low-class, low-budget cruise line. This was our second, and not our last on Carnival.
Starting off was great fast check in with upgrade to Jr. Suite. Placed in holding room with our suite cruisers. Room was basic with coffee and water. Would have been nice if they had a TV screen at least with cruise destination information for viewing just something to do instead of just sitting there.
