Stay away from Carnival Miracle!!

Review for a Hawaii Cruise on Carnival Miracle

First Time Cruiser • Age 50s

I have been cruising with Carnival for the last 15 years and had good experiences with them up until 2024. We did the 15 day Hawaii cruise and were highly disappointed. Food and Service on the Carnival Miracle was subpar at best and the ship had many things out of service like ice makers throughout the ships drink stations. We noticed that there was far less crew in the MDR and at the bars. ...

So this was my 4th cruise.(all on carnival). I didn't really enjoy my first 3 cruises but my idea really wanted to go. I have been to the long Beach terminal on all 4 trips and never had an major issues with the staff until this trip. When arriving , I was surprised when told i had to drive offsite to downtown long Beach to park, ($80 prepaid btw), and take a shuttle back. This took about an hour ...

I have been sailing with Carnival for years now just made Platinum. The last two cruise’s have been very disappointing. The food is horrible and not even free anymore if you want to eat something decent you have to pay extra. Room service cost now and the menu sucks they have you paying for pizza you can get free up stairs. Entertainment during the day was only trivia all day and music on lido ...

Not at all as advertised

This was supposed to be a "special sailabration cruise" Nothing special about it! They take your money and make changes at the last minute blaming covid. You never knew you were on a sailabration cruise until the very last day. Lido deck was very boring. No entertainment except a DJ. playing music a few hours everyday. 5 very boring days at sea. Entertainment at the phantom theater was like ...

No enforcement of CDC mask protocols

I am shocked to see many people without masks or masks well below their noses in public areas walking around. They walk right by staff and no one says anything to them. The buffet servers even serve maskless people food. If you care at all about Covid 19 this is not the ship for you. I spoke with managers in Lido Deck dining area and pool areas. They say they can not do anything about ...

We wanted to do something special for birthdays in the family, two of them in December during the cruise. We headed to Hawaii but might as well have flown. 4 sea days there and back were horrible. The second we stepped on deck, we smelled cigarette smoke, as smoking is permitted on Deck 2, indoors. There is really no way around it if you want to go to the casino, trivia events, or get on or off ...

Terrible Ship, Rudest crew I have ever had on a cruise

I choose this cruise because it left out of Long Beach and we just did not feel like flying this year. I was very disappointed, in the cleanliness of the ship as well as several of the crew members where very rude, Three times with bartenders, one of them twice. Dining reservations messed up and they had received 5 calls prior to sailing to make sure that was taken care of right. Nasty, rude ...

This was a seven-day cruise roundtrip from Long Beach, California with visits to Puerto Villarta and Cabo San Lucas. Hubby and I are experienced cruisers (close to 50 cruises). Until this cruise, we thought that there could never be a bad cruise. We stand corrected! From beginning to the end, this was a subpar experience. Embarkation We arrived early so we could relax in the lounge and ...

This was supposed to be a fun Spring Break trip for my family but it was the worst vacation we have ever taken! Both myself and my husband got food poisoning from food we ate on the ship! We returned home dehydrated and very sick! This was the first and last Carnival cruise we have been on! We cruised with Norwegian three times and Disney once. We were not impressed with the Miracle. The ship ...

Let me say first, this was not my first Rodeo! We have cruised most lines and all over the world destinations! This cruise line is so greedy and stupid, they first cancelled my reservation for Non-Payment "from my travel agent" Not Me! Then offered me "inside cabin" when I had paid for an "extended balcony" for the same money? Really! They did finally get a regular balcony, which they ...
