This is a nice sized boat with tons of little quiet areas to sit and read, play cards or have a cocktail . The comedians were funny and the shows were pretty good. We were on the 7th deck with an extended balcony and had a wonderful cabin steward who took the best care of us! Thank you Sara! We recommend the extended balcony since buffers you a bit more from the wind (it was cold first and last ...

We are back from the wedding cruise!!! I will break this up into sections so people can skip what they like. 1. Pre wedding (planning). Prepare to be in the dark. Alot. But fear not, the last few weeks before the wedding all will be revealed. I just wish they had told me that ahead of time so I didn't sweat anything. 2. Wedding day (embarkation). We arrived at the NYC port, it's NYC so it ...

As a first time Carnival cruiser and 3X Norwegian; and 3X Royal Carribean Cruiser, I would like to compare them. We cruised to the Bahamas and Cape Canaveral on the 2/18 cruise. It was cold two days going down and back but the ease of leaving from New England offset that negative. Let me start by saying that I thought that the lines were more similar than different. I will compare RC and ...

Fantastic! NYC - Bahamas

This was my fifth cruise and my third on Carnival. So far, Carnival is by far my favorite cruise line. I have never written a review before, and I decided to now because I am tired of hearing and reading complaints about it being a low-class, low-budget cruise line. In my experience, Carnival is far from that! I cannot say enough about the entire experience, and the great service! I took my ...

8 day cruise from NYC to port canaveral, nassau and freeport. This is not a cruise for the itinerary. Port canaveral has very limited options. but chance to get off the ship. Been to Nassau and Freeport several times before, so that was ho-hum as well, but at least a change of pace from sea days. many children on ship and many 20-40 somethings. was a high energy ship. Had the best rock n roll ...

My group was al excited by this latest cruise. We also got such a bargain for the 8 day cruise on the Carnival Miracle from NYC! We stayed in a balcony room. As always when 1st boarding, the dining buffet area is where you get sent and it is always crowded. My problem though with the dining on this ship is that there is only ONE dining room, One Buffet and ONE restaurant. The dining room looks ...

Embarcation: Got to NYC around 10:30, was assigned group 2. We were on the ship by 12:00. No problems, orderly and quick. The cruise terminal was cold. Once on the ship went to Lido for lunch. By 1:45 our cabin was ready. We were in 4142, aft, extended balcony. The cabin was a standard 185sf cabin. Plenty of storage. The bed was firm and comfortable. Our steward, Agus, was great. ...

We cruised out of New York with ports in cocoa beach, nassau and freeport. First and foremost I heard a lot of complaining on the boat about not doing this cruise again. Listen folks this is a ship out of New York. There is typically some weather in the Atlantic in February so if you go on this cruise thinking it will be like one out of Miami think again. Again this is February so you are ...

Carnival Miracle New York-Bahamas

For our family's first cruise, I chose the Carnival Miracle from New York to the Bahamas this past February. I was trying to save some money for the 4 of us, and since we live in Belleville, ON, I thought we could just drive into Manhatten and skip the airports. MISTAKE! Driving from Ontario to New York in February is a gamble. We got stuck on the interstate after a 40 car pile up due to a ...

I was going to post a very detailed review as I did take notes, but I do not want to be here typing for an hour so I will condense it. Day 1- Embarking The sooner you arrive to the Port the lower boarding zone number you receive, I was zone 4 and we arrived at 10am and they allowed us on the ship around 12:30. We headed straight to the Lido deck for some lunch, warning be prepared for a long as ...
