Very Disappointed After 8 Carnival Cruises

Review for a Caribbean - Eastern Cruise on Carnival Glory

My wife and I were dumbfounded while on our cruise to the Bahamas. Let me get the excursions out of the way. Freeport (otherwise known as the “Gas Station”), was disappointing. View from the ship once docked has a lot to be desired. The beach excursion was good. As others have posted, it is crowded but that didn’t bother us. Nassau was awesome! We took the Blue Lagoon excursion. You will ...

My Stateroom attendant Tony and Dining room Gusti Waiter was the best, I looked forward to seeing them everyday. They made my experience great. Although the food was not the best, i quickly learned to order over easy, hard fried or boiled eggs to get good ones. The scrambled eggs are horrible. on Lido, the pizza is horrible. Missing so many items I'm use to. The drinks were very watered down. ...

I have only been on 17 cruises but this will be the most memorable. Had a good time on boat except when it came to the casino. Which is one of the reasons my husband and I go on carnival cruises. Our Daughter had offer that she had free drinks in casinos even though she doesn’t play in there very much so she booked her a room and went along too on this one with my grandson and a ...

An overall OK cruise

This was our second cruise, the first being with Princess last year. This time we took our kids, ages 9 and 13. Because of adding them, cost wise we opted to go with Carnival. I knew going in that the experience wouldn’t be the same as with Princess, especially in regards to food, but I did think that because Carnival owns Princess, the overall service experience would be similar. Also, we have ...

this Was the fourth cruise with Carnival. All the others had been outstandingly enjoyable so was really looking forward to this one. Another couple that has traveled with us in the past was also with us on this one. They had never been to Nassau and none of us had spent enough time in Key West. The ship, although rather aged in cruise vessels, was very well maintained. Not much rust was apparent ...

We are platinum members with the Carnival Cruise line. We have been loyal to them because we enjoy the fun on the fun ship. We did a B2B January 2- 19...eastern/western Caribbean. The quality of the food, especially on the buffet, and the temperature of the ship were our main complaints. We didn't go on a Caribbean cruise to freeze in our room, the dining room and all lounges. We didn't go to ...

Good, not great

This was a good cruise at a decent price. But since this was our twentieth cruise, we have high expectations. Some were met, others were not. We opted for carnivals transportation from fll to miami. Big mistake. Stop and go thru the airport after being on a plane for three hours is not a great way to start a vacation. But the driver did get us there. Because we arrived fairly late, ...

It was my 65th birthday and we invited cousins/friends to come with us. They were virgin cruisers. This was our 5th cruise and the rockiest ship we have ever been on. Everyone walked like they were drunk for days, bouncing off the walls in the corridors from morning to night. One night was so bad, the set was removed from the stage in the Amber Palace and the performers sat on stools. It has ...

We took 35 relatives on a 7 day cruise in the Bahamas. Overall Carnival is a good value for the money. the staff in general is very polite considerate and helpful - helpful only if it falls within there area of allowable assistance - i.e. the cabin attendant can bring you extra towels. Worst thing is the wifi is very poor - only works 50% of the time - resets 5 times an hour, and is so slow you ...

Embarkation and Disembarkation - very smooth and efficient Ship - Dated and needs upgrades but okay VERY SMALL pools, and loaded with kids - we spent ALL of our time on board, when sunning on the Serenity Deck - very crowded and people DO save all the hammocks and rounds loungers - and then leave for hours - not enforced The main pool was so crowded you could not move - so if you are ...
