Started my journey by driving to Ft Lauderdale on Friday before the cruise. Stayed at the Hampton Inn Cruise Port North. Great hotel for cruising out of Miami or Fort Lauderdale.They have a shuttle to Miami now and parking at hotel.. Left on Satuarday morning for parking in Miami. First of all, we love carnival. We are platinum. I have about 35 cruises with them and am loyal.. but this boat was hot! I was sweating like crazy everywhere and our cabin was even hotter. I chose this cruise for the great destinations. We stopped at Half Moon Cay Bahamas, St Thomas, Puerto Rico, and Grand Turk. We have cruised with Carnival about 8 times before, once with P&O and once with MSC.
Glory is an older ship and this is reflected in her appearance, many areas are streaked with rust and our balcony was particularly bad!
The glass on the balcony door was streaked with marks and the surrounding frame was in very poor condition with what appeared paint streaks??
