1-10 of 1,466 Carnival Glory Cruise Reviews for Gay & Lesbian Cruises to the Caribbean
So, Writing this review a few months late but better late then never lol....So my wife and I (38, 40) took our oldest son (18) on a cruise for his High school Graduation present. He graduated 5 months early so figured would be a great time to get away from the cold. We booked the Glory out of New Orleans mainly because of the convenience of not having to fly. I have been on Many cruises with ...
This Christmas we had the best Carnival cruise on the Glory we had in twenty cruises. I have been on twenty cruises and I can only remember one cruise Director from the Liberty, Stitch was his name. The rest are a blur until this Christmas we met Cousin Cookie (Jonathan Adams). OMG! He made this cruise the best Carnival cruise ever.
Can you imagine eating lunch on Friday afternoon the day ...
We traveled on the Carnival Glory March 1-8, 2020. We flew in the night before and used Uber to get to the port in the morning. We got to the port at around 11:30, dropped off our luggage and it took about an hour before we made it inside and through security for boarding. We went up to the Lido Deck for a Guys Burger and a drink before heading to our room to drop off our carry on luggage. ...
Carnival crew members are always polite and almost always happy and friendly. That’s a big plus, of course.
The food wasn’t as good on this cruise, IMO. My husband used to really enjoy the filet and lobster on the elegant nights, but they have moved those two entrees to separate nights now. We ate in the main dining room every night, but the only thing I had that was really good was the crab ...
My first cruise! Everything went well except for an excursion ( Isla Rotan) that was not clearly explained. I thought that snorkeling would be supervised and found out the hard way that it was not. Nor was it explained in the description. I learned so much that I can rely on my travel clients. The entire staff was so nice and accommodating. it was my girlfriends' first cruise as well. We really ...
We had a great time. I am always trying to maintain a healthy weight. The cruise ship had all the foods that I like eating. I certainly did not want to gain 10 pounds from all the delicious food that was served on the ship. The ship served delicious seafood and salads. In the dining room, I was able to get lower calorie deserts. So, I did not gain a lot of weight. And, I had a great time. ...
This was a cruise offered to us after a convention in New Orleans. The ship is a great size, needs some TLC but nothing that will interfere with your fun times. Our 1st stop was Mahogany Bay, it rained the 1st part of the morning, Beach is very pretty and water is so clear, I was able to see a sea horse just by looking down into the water!! Our 2nd stop was Belize, we did the Tiger Caves ...
This cruise was booked to celebrate a wedding anniversary. We first cruised last year and we fell in love with cruising. We sailed out of New Orleans. We are from Louisiana so New Orleans was close. Previously we have sailed out of Galveston which we were not too fond of so we wanted to try something new. Overall I feel like it was a success.
Embarkation was very seamless because we had faster ...
Starting off on a positive note, it is evident the culture on this ship is focused around excellent service. Somewhere between 95-99% of the staff is incredible at their job. The cabin I stayed in seemed very reasonable, although the walls in(I think) all the cabins are very thin and a nightmare for light sleepers. The majority of the food I ate ranged from good to great quality. There’s a lot of ...
We chose this ship because we live close to port and it was a gift from our in-laws. I was trying to book from Miami on an MSC ship, but my in-laws wanted us to be closer to port. Everyone else was flying in, so we made the short drive.
Two days before embarkation, I get a message from a facebook friend with a video of the Glory getting into an accident. Oh crap! We're not going to sail!
