Fantastic Girls Trip!

Review for a Caribbean - Southern Cruise on Carnival Dream

Embarkation was a breeze and actually quite exciting. The cruise line personnel were extremely friendly, organized and informational. It took only about forty-five minutes from when we left the parking garage to sitting on the Lido Deck! Disembarkation was smooth as well. This was a "girls" trip and we had a wonderful time. We chose aft balcony rooms and they were quite spacious and the decks ...

Review for a Caribbean - Eastern Cruise on Carnival Dream

The ship was very nice although the décor was a little outdated - reminded me of the 70's! We stayed in an inside cabin, was adequate. The steward was fantastic as was all the other crew members. We had early dining so that we could catch many of the shows, however, since service was slow, we did miss a few shows since once they start , the doors are locked and you cannot enter late. ...

Dreaming of another cruise.

I read some of the other reviews and cannot believe we were on the same cruise. While the other reviewers were unhappy, we had a very good experience. We have taken numerous cruises on Royal Carribean, Norwegian, Holland America, and Carnival. The Jan. 14 cruise on Carnival Dream was very good. We had a balcony stateroom. The attendant, Rommel, was excellent. It would have been helpful to ...

Review for a Caribbean - All Cruise on Carnival Dream

My wife and I travelled with my brother and his wife on the 11-day out of NOLA. Check in was the most efficient and expedient that I have seen after 8 cruises from NOLA. On the boat and our room was not ready, although we had a Grand Suite. Over the years, we have seen an erosion of service and amenities with Carnival and were not surprised as our expectations have been adjusted with time. We met ...

Good Value for Money Cruise

Review for a Caribbean - Southern Cruise on Carnival Dream

Once again, Carnival delivered its standard “value for money” cruise. The Dream is a nicely maintained vessel. It is not my favorite Carnival ship however. Although a sister ship to the Breeze, it does not have a Guy's Burger Joint nor a Red Frog Pub. It seemed difficult to find a quiet place to have a beer and read a book. The Ocean plaza was always packed with people doing trivia quizzes, crafts ...

I chose the premium vista balcony on deck 7 for many reasons.

Booked a Premium Vista Balcony, #7454. All rooms of all categories were available when I booked over a year in advance. I chose the premium vista balcony on deck 7 for many reasons. I've stayed in the Grand Suite and yes the room is big, but the balcony is only wide, not deep, and doesn't get much sun. My wife likes to sun privately, likes to stay away from the crowds and close to A/C and ...

Carnival Dream-Some problems but still a great cruise

Review for a Caribbean - Southern Cruise on Carnival Dream

The Carnival Dream is a beautiful ship. The decor was tasteful and surprising subdued by Carnival's usual themes. We really liked the increase in width of the ship as this reduced the congestion and you were able to walk freely. Embarkation: We landed in Orlando airport at noon, and we were on the ship by 10 after 1:00. Very smooth embarkation process. No Problems. Good Job Carnival! ...
