For the ports visited that we wanted to go to and living in the midwest, Orlando was not too awfully far to go.
Our embarkation was the fastest and smoothest we have ever had in my 19 cruises. This is due to the workings of the Orlando port.
Our cabin was an inside which is what we always get.
Our dining was always at the main dining room, and it left a lot to be desired. It was the ...
Why did we choose this cruise? It was at a convenient time. We disembarked from Norwegian Breakaway and went directly over to Carnival Breeze on Feb.1 2020.
The ship was way too cold with freezing air conditioning everywhere. The only escape from the cold was outside in the wind. We both got horrible colds. We noticed other people coughing a lot (so it was not just us). The quality of the food ...
I sailed in December of 2019 to the Eastern Caribbean for 7 days on the Breeze - the fourth Carnival ship I have sailed on. Carnival Breeze was the roughest ride by far - the first two days we did up to 45 knots to get to our first port of call, and the entire Breeze wallowed, shook and rattled at that speed, which made sleeping difficult. The Breeze is not an attractive ship. It's interior is ...
I've been cruising for 40 years, starting in 1978 on the emerald seas. I've taken over 40 cruises and am a gold carnival member. We took advantage of the many hotels that offer a park and cruise program where you can stay the night before departure and leave your car in their parking lot and take a shuttle to the port. We swore off carnival a couple of years ago because of bad experiences, but the ...
Usually good. Limited choices
Poor quality, poor service in main dining room. Buffet cut choices by more than 1/2. Afternoon is a burger or pizza. Not a whole lot more. Long lines at buffet, pizza took forever to make. Long line as well there. Deli: forget it. One person helping long line, and selections have changed.
Found many areas dirty. Public bathrooms not cleaned enough. Ship showing ...
Overcrowded cruise, pools wall to wall people, no way I would get in, had to wait in lines for food, water ice. Only one floor on the entire ship to get water, lemonade and tea. They give you tiny kid cups to drink from. Food was average. The ship windows were dirty. Everything costs extra. If you buy a soda package for kids, they have go to the bar to get a soda, and carnival adds tips on ...
This was my 3rd cruise, but first time with Carnival. We went as a group of 9 for a family vacation. Five in my group were new to cruising. The 5 children ranged in age from 6 y.o to 14 y.o. Unfortunately, everyone in the group returned extremely disappointed.
The pools were remarkably small, barely larger than hot tubs, and were nowhere close to being able to accommodate the number of ...
In my opinion this cruise was not worth the amount I spent. I have sailed with Carnival 1 other time and it was the worst experience of my life and I almost never went on a cruise again after that. Last year we tried Royal Caribbean for the first time and loved it and this year I decided to give Carnival another chance. My mistake. I went with my boyfriend and 2 other couples so there was 6 of us ...
We were treated poorly at the station we were at to get on the ship. Just very poor from a couple of personnel on the ship to two poor on-shore trips. Not real happy with the cruise director, and how games and fun was handled and how they handled themselves. Our on shore trips in St. Thomas and the Dominican Republic were sub-par. The trip to the beach in St. Thomas was not a good trip, and we ...
The Carnival Breeze is basically the floating version of Guy Fieri: Loud, obnoxious, garish, overstuffed and cheap.
After a decade in use, the Breeze needs to be dry docked and spruced up -- it's showing its age. The smoking areas are WAY too big and poorly positioned. The casino is right in the middle of the ship and is basically a poison cloud.
Lots of lunch options on the Breeze. The Guy ...
