This was our ninth cruise, the fifth one on Carnival. Great Food in the main dining and specialty restaurants.
It's a very clean nicely decorated ship. We like that the hallways to the cabins are much wider on this larger ship.
EMBARKATION: Our most time consuming embarkatiom ever. Over 1 1/2 hours.
MONTEGO BAY: DO NOT do the Grand Rose Hall museum and shopping tour. Very boring ...
I took this cruise along with some other friends. I traveled by myself so had to pay for 2. I have been on this boat before and didn't really like this boat so I decided to upgrade and pay for a room with a balcony to make the cruise better. I got a balcony room on the 6th level just above the entry to the casino. Mistake number one. This room filled up with smoke from the casino as soon as ...
This is our 2nd Carnival cruise and 3rd cruise overall. Lets start with the most negative, FOOD: The buffet food on this cruise was below our expectations, even after our first cruise on the ecstasy 10 years ago that we were pleased with the selection and quality, we were VERY disappointed on the buffet quality and selection on this cruise. Guys burgers were awesome! Italian restaurant was ...
First time cruiser. Had a great time. Great food, great ports, beautiful ship, super great, friendly staff.
We took a lot of crap that we didn't need....no need for extra drinks. New also had bottles of liquor sent to our room to avoid the high cost of drinks. It wasn't that bad. 8-15 per drink.
We worked out 3-4 days of the cruise and we did the couples massage. It was great. They ...
Our third Carnival cruise. We sailed on Conquest, Magic, and Breeze. Last cruise was two years ago and it was very similar to the first. Both were 5-star experiences. Sorry to say the cuts by Carnival over the past two years dampened our experience so much our next cruise will be with someone else. Noticed cuts:
the shows no longer feature a live band, only singers/dancers with recorded ...
Just returned from my Miami cruise, my 15th. a few comments on the Breeze. First night steakhouse...advertises free wine first night, well that's per table and they set you with other couples, wine was no good anyway...day of arrival was a zoo, so crowded it was unbelievable, decided to eat pizza which was tasteless but it was served at the back of the ship that stinks from the Indian food served ...
My Husband and myself thoroughly enjoyed our stay on the Breeze this February. Only wish the cruise was longer. One of my favorite finds was the Serenity Deck 15, private with hammocks, day beds, hot tubs, bar. Found myself there everyday listening to audio books and enjoying the company of other travelers. Look forward to the Vista in 2016, sure hope the ship has this deck. We will come again. ...
Review: The Carnival Breeze.
Well here it is, my first review of a cruise. As this in my first review, I have no idea what format I am going to use and just kind of going to make this up as I go along. In that respect this is like when you first step onto a new-to-you cruise ship. You wander around a bit at first and ultimately you’ll find your way around. Speaking of, boarding the Breeze was a ...
November 3rd 2013 to November 9th with stops in Grand Turk, Ocho Rios Jamaica and Nassau Bahamas. Started off a little rocky. Embarkation was delayed as the previous cruise apparently had some security issues that we still aren't sure of. Apparently they brought dog's on board and stopped passengers from disembarking. So the early faster to the fun boarders didn't start boarding till almost noon. ...
My SO and I took this ship without much research. We are in our early 40's and this was our 5th Carnival cruise. We have chosen to stay with Carnival despite recent issues because they have always treated us well. We previously had traveled on the Legend twice, the Glory and the Splendor. Having heard about the upgrades and new look to the Breeze we decided to embrace change. And we liked the ...
