Carnival Canada & New England Cruise Reviews

Great meeting this guy, humble and transparent. He just knows what he's doing. As I said,if He is not your cruise activity director, just ask for a refund lol. He's that good.

Venezia Canada intinerary. The good and the bad.

Review for a Canada & New England Cruise on Carnival Venezia

We chose this cruise for several reasons. First, we were interested in cruising on a new ship, or at least new to us. And second we chose because of the itinerary in hopes of seeing some of the fall foliage. So, let's first talk about the ship. It is different than any other Carnival ship we've been on. The Lido deck and main pool area is not at all set up for sun lounging or swimming. The ...

8 day out of Norfolk Va. parked car with asphalt lots ( park air) in Chesapeake. Brad was very easy to engage for info. Vans started running early and took traffic headache away. Terminal easy and friendly folks to get onboard , maybe 25 min with a 1135 boarding time. Food. Nothing special. Outback better than steakhouse the one night we went. Guys burgers good and busy. Guys bbq- expected much ...

Review for a Canada & New England Cruise on Carnival Legend

The Legend is an older, smaller ship. Carnival has made many changes since the pandemic, some of which are not good. Paid for FTTF ($129). Received no benefit. Had to check in on line which gave us a 2PM boarding time. Instead of priority boarding which is part of FTTF, we were boarded with regular passengers. Our room was cleaned but not set up for 3 guests. The dedicated phone line, again part ...

Fun Italian Style B2B

Selected this cruise for the itinerary - ended up on the Venezia due to a ship swap. Beginning was very rough - cabin assignment on swap did not align with what we'd paid for and hours on the phone did not resolve the issues. Eventually, we paid to upgrade (ugh - we already paid for the cabin on the original ship) one week and were able to get moved to same cabin for the 2nd week. The ship ...

Ship overcrowded , ship too small for that many passengers, service was lacking and the food was subpar, shows on this ship was amateur at best, very disappointed, comedians were pretty funny when you can get into seeing them, pools over crowded, kids diving into the hot tube, kids running around halls late nights, just overall did not enjoy this trip, waiting for Carnival to rotate ships, I will ...

An inaugural cruise that should have been special but wasn't

Review for a Transatlantic Cruise on Carnival Venezia

A 15-Day cruise from Barcelona to New York City. Took a very similar cruise on Horizon (maiden voyage) five years ago and LOVED it. We were hoping to repeat the experience on the "reassigned" Venezia's inaugural cruise. I know that comparing ships and voyages can be a slippery slope but, so I waited a while to submit this review in order for my impressions to truly be valid and not just ...

We embarked on a transatlantic cruise from Barcelona to NYC with high hopes, as it was the ship’s inaugural voyage. However, we were let down in several areas. Below is our evaluation of the ship, rooms, services, and food: Ship: The ship was average when compared to other Carnival vessels. We found the layout to be somewhat confusing and the lighting was dim. The adults-only Serenity area was ...

We are Platinum VIFP, and have sailed Carnival many time, as well as Princess, RCCL, and HAL. The Ship…all that can be said is, that it is beautiful. Just don’t like the Costa funnel. The Crew…as always they worked very hard to make our vacation wonderful and memorable. The Entertainment…Great vocalist…The shows were mediocre at best and Color My World was the worst show I’ve ever seen on ...

We chose this cruise because it was near our anniversary. The day we got off ship was our anniversary. We had been on this ship before. We celebrated our 10th, and 20th anniversaries on board this ship when it was the Carnival Triumph. We would be getting off on our 30th anniversary. We had been on this ship on our trip to the Panama Canal just four months before. It was much better when ...

My wife and I are fairly frequent cruisers, but we recently took our first cruise on the Carnival Sunrise, from New York up the eastern coast of New England and Canada with scheduled stops in Halifax, St. John, NB, Portland ME and Boston, then back to New York. Unfortunately, because of bad weather we had to skip both Portland and Boston, which was a disappointment but of course with "safety ...
