Carnival Canada & New England Cruise Reviews

Great meeting this guy, humble and transparent. He just knows what he's doing. As I said,if He is not your cruise activity director, just ask for a refund lol. He's that good.

Left out of Boston - love leaving out of there, but the computers were apparently down, making for long lines. Got in line at 2pm, like a Disney ride, round and round we go - wasn't on the ship until after 4pm. After 2 hours of waiting many we trying to 'cut in front', and it got a bit crazy. Such a total change from when we went on NCL out of Boston in Oct and there was no line - we just went ...

Carnival Glory Review by an Independent Cruiser We flew from Jacksonville to Boston on JetBlue on a flight that was delayed, and nearly cancelled the night before the cruise due to bad weather in Boston. However, our delay was greatly mitigated by the fact that the airline gave us a free movie and free alcoholic drinks while onboard. We spent the night in the Boston Logan Hilton that was ...

We recently returned from the 7-day New England/Canada cruise on the Carnival Glory (June 3-June 10). I thought I'd do a review. FYI, we are a couple in our early 50's now living in Kentucky. This was our 3rd Carnival cruise (2nd on the Glory), and our 8th overall. Arrival/Embarkation: We always arrive at least one day early to our port city of embarkation. This time we arrived via ...

This was our first cruise with Carnival and our third cruise total. We found ourselves making a lot of comparisons to our previous cruises, both of which were with Royal Caribbean. Although we had a nice time overall, there were some things that we didn't care for and those things will definitely affect how (and if) we plan future cruises with Carnival. PORT/PARKING/EMBARKATION About two days ...

We've been on 8 cruises now, most of them Carnival, but I'm seriously reconsidering whether we will ever do another Funship experience. Our last cruise was aboard the Magic, which was absolutely fantastic. We also ascribe to the idea that your vacation is what you want to make it. The ship itself was nicely appointed and kept up, however, with frequent wiping down of public areas. It's the ...

Although I only live 10 miles away from Boston, I have never cruised out of that port before. Driving in and parking was very smooth and convenient (and remarkably affordable at $50 for a 5-night cruise, compared to other parking venues around Boston). Embarkation took about an hour altogether, and the ground staff seemed a bit frazzled, but that may be due to a bad-weather embarkation delay ...

WHAT A JOKE...FUN SHIP?? Let me tell you. I cruised with the Carnival Glory and it was a nightmare. My children were treated like garbage. 1. Day 1--there was no day 1. Ship was being "repositioned". They knew that at least three months in advance. We were never informed the ship was going to be late for a third time that day. Instead, they corralled my family in a hotel lobby with ...

As several of the other reviews stated the ship didn't leave port until 12:35 P.M. on Monday. Very Very cold, which I thought it would be chilly, but not so cold. We wanted to celebrate our 50th anniversary on a ship and had two choices we could of made. Carribbean, being one on Royal Carribbean, and this cruise with Carnival. We have cruise Carinval before and always had a good time. I sure ...

I was accused of being more forgiving than others on the ship last week, but I try to be as objective as possible. The reality is that the ship was delayed half a day arriving in port because of "Whale Migration" several weeks before departure and then again the day of, due to fog. This + terrible MassPort security staff at the Port of Boston + gale warnings outside the port of Boston led to a ...

We went on our cruse June 14-18 with another couple. They had never cruised before and wanted to go with someone who had. This particular cruise was picked due to length and price. Embarkation was a breeze. No lines @ about 11;30 am and we sailed (pun intended) thru it all. We were on board and in the Red Sail eating quite quickly. Our rooms were ready quickly also. My first complaint was ...
