This is the second time we took this cruise. We chose it to avoid flying and the Caribbean during hurricane season. Jose did rough up the seas for us, but it It did not impact our fun. The itinerary was perfect, the food exquisite, service was impeccable. Couldn't have asked for better except the weather wasn't "perfect". Everything was nice about this cruise except the comedy shows. They only had a PG show the first day.
Everyday after that they were all R or X rated. 4 times a day, even at 7:15.
We are not prudes, but we don't like hearing the F word a 100 times, and distasteful material.

Cruised with a group of 6 friends/family. Because I consider Carnival cheap and cheerful, I had realistic expectations. Wanted to cruise New England/Canada and chose Carnival due to past positive cruises on other ships from their fleet. This ship is difficult to navigate from aft to mid and forward on many deck levels. Elevators noted not to stop on mid level decks when coming from upper decks i.e.: 10 or 11 or from lower decks 4-5, and noted very slow!

We are in our early 50's and have sailed on Carnival several times. I enjoy the entertainment, trivia, and comedy shows. But I have noticed over the years that the food quality and variety has declined.
