From the minute we arrive I felt like a superstar.
I was pleased with everything
Free meal at Jiji. They treated us so well. Every time I left my cabin and came back it was cleaned and decorated with something nice.

Carnival offers a great trip at a reasonable cost and delivers. The Sunshine is excellent and renovated. My partner and I are Platinum with this cruise line so we are always treated well.
No wait to board and a lovely welcome at NYC port in the VIP lounge. Went to cabin at 1pm and it was ready (platinum perk). Had lunch which was lovely.

This was a Anniversary get-away (also combining our birthdays) as well as a first time cruise with dear friends. The Carnival Sunshine was a very pleasant surprise to a jaded cruiser like myself. I have cruised Carnival before and have been very disappointed, but the Sunshine has inspired me to give the line a closer look! We originally were supposed to sale on the Glory to Central America; however Hurricane Matthew scuttled our plans that had been in the works for 5 months.
