I booked this cruise through http://www.carnival.com with the intention of having a very pampered, well-fed relaxing weekend, thus this is not what I received. We boarded from Long Beach on Friday June 9th. We boarded around 1:30 and looked forward to enjoying a lavish boy voyage/welcome type party with lots of good food and music and such.
