The Cabin was pretty nice, definitely had plenty of room for 4 people. I won't do a room smaller than a suite, regardless who I cruise with. The housekeeper was good and he did receive a tip, thank you Jose.

Cabins – in the past, we’ve sailed in a balcony cabin on Carnival, but this was an opportunity to try out the Ocean Suite at a good price. The cabin was a reasonable size and comfortable. (It was similar to the Junior Suite on Royal Caribbean). The balcony may be the shortest (from door to railing) we’ve ever had. The chairs had to be turned sideways so you could sit in them. The closets (yes, two of them) were actually in a closet, with sliding doors, so we each had a hanging closet and shelves. The hanging part was a bit small, but it worked. The shelves provided good space for our non-hanging clothes. The bathroom had two sinks and a tub/shower with jets. It was a bit tight for two people using the sinks at the same time. The tub had been fitted with sliding shower doors which added about 2 inches to the height of the 18+ inch tub. Yes, it was difficult for us to get in and out of the tub for a shower. I’m 6 foot 1 and I had to use the handholds in the tub/shower and the door knob to make sure I didn’t slip while getting in and out. Personally, I think it’s about time to offer non-tub showers in the Junior Suites, Ocean Suites, etc. Most young people don’t take tub baths, and a lot of us seniors don’t either. As you get older, it becomes a safety hazard if you have any mobility issues. Another option would be to replace the tub/shower units in some of the cabins with just showers. Maybe a bit bigger than the standard showers. (Just a thought). Read Less

First time choosing a suite. This was a special occasion as it is our 25th wedding anniversary so we wanted to splurge and rent a suite. Unfortunately when we stepped into our sweet there were a few things that we were very disappointed with. Our Jacuzzi tub had a nasty ring around it. At first I thought well maybe it's just a stain that won't come off but low and behold I was easily able to scrub some off with a cloth. It's one thing when I am cleaning my own bathtub but when I see that there is somebody else is still in my tub I was disgusted. The TV was also smashed and the linens on the bed were ripped I also have really bad pet allergies and for some reason in this room I could not stop sneezing. It took about a day to have some of these issues addressed but once they were for the rest of our stay was fantastic Read Less

Upgraded for the extra space, which it had but felt smaller with double sofa bed compared to cabin next door with single sofa bed; plenty of storage including two closets and under bed for luggage; empty fridge; TV was older but fine; carpet showing wear; bathroom was a good size with double sinks and tub (jacuzzi not functioning); bed/linens comfortable enough. Balcony was good, little tight with the chaise lounge but partitions opened to adjoining cabins. Convenient to forward elevators but corridor was quiet; good soundproofing from adjacent cabins; no activity above or below (including deck 5 promenade - would be weary of cabins mid/aft starboard with BBQ and its music below).
