An Ocean Suite has more space for stretching out indoors, plus a private balcony for kicking back outdoors. These staterooms also include VIP check-in, walk-in closets, and a bathroom with a whirlpool, two twin beds (convert to a king) and a single sofa bed, sofa and coffee table, desk and seat, and a full bathroom with shower/whirlpool tub/double sinks.
My husband booked the reservation last minute and then when the Ugrade Fairy called he upgraded us from a balcony to an Ocean Suite, which was the perfect size for three people. The OS room was huge with a walk in closet and plenty of closet space and extra storage for 3 people. The bathroom was more than sufficient with the Jacuzzi tub, double sink and extra drawer space. Not your typical cramped cruise ship bathroom. There was plenty of storage throughout the room with extra drawers next to the fridge and the desk area and two small bedside tables had space to put items as well. The Ocean Suite never felt cramped with two adults and a not so small tween.
Our cabin steward "Carlos" was outstanding and no request ever went unanswered and his extra added touches made our stay that much more enjoyable. I threw my back out on Wednesday of our trip and he made sure I had ample ice morning, noon and night for the remainder of the trip. Carlos was the sweetest, kindest gentleman we have ever had the privilege to meet. He was wonderful! The Ocean Suite will be our room of choice going forward for sure. Read entire member review >>
Don't be chintzy & cheap on your vacation; pay the money & enjoy it! We've only booked balconies but this time booked the suite, soooo glad we did. This one was right by the glass elevators & everyone fears hearing lots of noise; to be honest, we didn't hear anything more than anywhere else on the ship. Perks like priority boarding, double sinks, Jacuzzi tub, walk in closet, then priority disembarkation, why go back to a balcony??? Read entire member review >>
Very clean and comfortable but the bathroom wasn't as spacious as I would've liked. Never really felt the ship rocking from the room whatsoever and the tv display with your sign and sail account and itinerary were much better than the carnival pride. I do wish the tub was a little bigger but everything else about the room was great. Best ive ever slept on vacation. Read entire member review >>
The cabin was very nice, excellent use of storage. It was quite far forward in the boat and had a bit more sway than a mid-ship cabin, but this shouldn't be a deterrent. It was a little harder to get around (longer walk) given how far forward it was. But it was very quiet. Would recommend. Read entire member review >>
Our Ocean Suite 7375 more than met our expectations. The closets were plentiful and we found more than enough storage for all of our belongings (we pack heavy). The bathroom was a highlight due to the his and her sinks and the jetted tub. The balcony had two chairs and a lounge chair with table. We spent several mornings out watching the ports come in. There are several large windows in addition to the door so there is a lot of natural light.
We were a little concerned about the new deck plan since there are added hot tubs two floors below the suits. This was not an issue at all. With the door propped open you can sometimes hear people but you can smell the BBQ cooking more! With the door closed you could not hear anything from below.
This room is fairly far from the elevators and it seemed to take a long time to walk to any elevator to go somewhere. The location is quiet for this reason but for our next cruise we have booked the same room type but closer to the elevators.
What made this room extra special is the great and attentive room attendants! Read entire member review >>
As per my review. Do not book Suite 7377. It has a problem with noise. In general Carnival suites are of a lower standard when compared to other company offers within the same category. Read entire member review >>
Loved our Ocean suites (7358 & 7364)! Quiet and peaceful. Great location. Comfortable bedding! I've never slept better! Great layout of room. Loved the large closet. Bathroom was perfect in size. Carpets could use a bit of cleaning. Loved the menus on the TV. For those much needed R&R days, a few more movies on the TV would have been nice.
Meheila our room stewardess was amazing! Read entire member review >>
We had Ocean Suite 7363. We loved the accommodations! Empress Deck is the ideal location, because there are only cabins above and below you. Our location was ideal. Mid-ship, and just a few doors down from the laundry room (which, believe me, you will need). Also, just a short walk to the mid-ship elevator bank and stairwell. Very comfy king bed. Spacious and well-appointed cabin. Walk-in closets with plenty of space to hang clothes. Lots of shelving. Good sized flat screen TV you could tilt to watch from the sitting area (couch, chair, and coffee table) or from bed. Balcony was private and roomy enough (chaise, 2 chairs, and small table). Starboard side gave us great pier views at docking in most ports, and we could watch the pier runners as departure time got close. Bathroom was very nice -- more like a hotel room's bathroom. Marble counters, double-sinks, tons of shelving for toiletries and personal effects. Jacuzzi tub with built in shower was a little cramped, but water pressure was great and temperature was easy to set and didn't vary when neighboring cabins were also showering. Sliding shower doors are much better than having a shower curtain; these doors were 3-paneled so they could slide to either side for good access. Paying the higher price for a suite was definitely worth it to us. We could easily fit 6-8 friends for cocktails before dinner. Read entire member review >>
This cabin was much smaller than ocean suite on the Carnival Freedom. Cabin was in good central location; close to elevators and close to laundry room but far enough away so that we were not disturbed by loud groups of people going in and out laundry room and hanging around the entrance. Balcony also small; it had 1 chaise lounge chair (which couldn't be turned to face the ocean because of the small size of balcony) plus 2 chairs and small table. No soap dish for the double sinks; we used a saucer from The Lido. We had to ask for facial soap which was very small. No big deal, I always bring my own. Adequate storage & hanging space for 2 adults; would have been tight if a 3rd person shared the cabin. Comfortable bed; too many decorative pillows--takes up too much space.
Location 2 floors above Ocean Plaza and Fat Jimmie's BBQ. Good spot to people watch from your own balcony. Read entire member review >>
