Carnival Barcelona Cruise Reviews

Great meeting this guy, humble and transparent. He just knows what he's doing. As I said,if He is not your cruise activity director, just ask for a refund lol. He's that good.

We chose this cruise for the inaugural voyage and mediterranean itinerary. Pros: - Excellent Staff - although VERY SHORT HANDED - Cove Balcony Rooms EXCELLENT - Debarkation was easy - Veterns Gathering was EXCELLENT - Carnival excels at that Cons: - Boarding Ship in Barcelona - VERY UN-ORGANIZED - especially baggage - VERY POOR Food in Dining Room (Cold, Burnt, Tasteless) ...

It was the ships maiden European cruise, so you would think they would put some European food on no chance it was like something you clean out the bottom of a parrots cage worst food on any cruise we have done and to date that is 15, if you like your food hot then this cruise is not for you Luke warm is the best you will get if you’re lucky. I spoke to many people asking if this was typical ...

Vista Very Disappointing

Take plenty of money if you are on Vista. It was the worst Carnival cruise we have done. Can you imagine you pay extra 6 bucks for fish and chips for lunch. We never met our cabin staff and the reflections restaurant was like some sort of cafe in a department store. The food and the service was about the same. There were no TV movies but if you want to see a movie in the theater you pay. You ...

A huge disappointment!

We enjoyed our Breeze cruise so much, and the Vista was so hyped as the flagship, that we booked this two years ago. Much was made of the new Havana Cabanas and all of the amenities. Here are some things you need to know. DO NOT WASTE YOUR MONEY on the Spa Package. The Spa area is so oversold that you cant get in to use the chairs, they are always taken. Gone are the days of find dining. ...

Poor Service

I am particularly disappointed by the Lido deck and the ability of the staff to keep coffee and coffee cups in adequate supply. During the peak of early morning breakfast, the coffee pots would go empty and cups would run out. A sign on the machine instructed people to use a new cup each time. This was a new ship that was commissioned in spring and the carpet on the stairs was shredding. ...

Cruise Mistake

Chose this cruise as it was a new ship and we thought the price was good. The ship, food, entertainment and service was a big disappointment to both of us. This was our eighth cruise, our first and last with Carnival. They can learn a lot from there competitors as a lack of training was obvious where the staff especially in the dining areas were concerned. The so called entertainment at night, ...

I chose this cruise because I've always enjoyed the other cruises I've taken with Carnival. A few weeks before we sailed, the cruise line called and asked if I would like to upgrade to a balcony cabin and of course I did. When we first saw the cabin I was quite pleased as it had 2 bathrooms, 2 TV's, a sofa and a balcony. My first thoughts were, this is wonderful!! BUT is was NOT. Around 2:30 ...

Don't bother, the worst Carnival ship of all.

The worst ship we have ever been on. Not customer focused, food in mdr was awful, service was poor, Lido dining was always a mess, not enough seating, long lines. They refunded the bubbles program which was extremely disappointing as my husband is a diabetic and has few options. The ship pathways are crooked and uneven, I fell more than once. The laundry room was filthy every time I went in ...

Worst cruise ever. Poor quality, appalling staff and unwelcoming children's club

Let me begin by saying this was my first time cruising with Carnival and I will NEVER cruise with them again. Our holiday was ruined by so many things that it turned into something of an endurance test until we got to come home. I have cruised with many companies before and never known anything like this. There were many people around the pool voicing similar concerns, particularly families ...

We had been looking to do a European cruise for a couple years to celebrate milestone birthdays and when the new Vista was announced, we jumped on it for several reasons.. (1) The new ship looked to be amazing with a brand-new "Havana" area that included private cabins, private pool and hot tubs, as well as private bar, etc. - sounded wonderful! (2) The itinerary hit several of the places we ...
