This cruise was most notable for the weather - it was cold, windy, and wet for most of the cruise. Really the only beautiful day was our Half Moon Cay day - so that was nice. But the seas were quite rough most of the time (it's great the ship has stabilizers) too. So overall, if you are looking for warmth and beautiful sunny days - just be aware you might not get them at this time of year. ...

My husband and I chose this cruise since we can easily get a ride to the port. We wanted a break from winter. Neighbors joined us, making our party two couples 57-61 years old. We each had an ocean balcony.
PROS: As mentioned, convenience to port. Plenty of shelving around bathroom sink (6 shelves for all of the meds, makeup, toiletries etc.). Plenty of closet space between 3 closets. ...

My first time on a cruise and I picked Carnival legend. Had a balcony room. Paid for the cheers package wifi and gratuities all ahead of time. Just wanted to have a great vacation. This was an Ultra cruise out of Baltimore. We chose it because we are gamblers and the port is only a five hour drive away. We stayed at Best Western in Baltimore only a few miles from the port.
