Because it got dood reviews and it was leaving from Baltimore. Unfortunately we had a very rough ride down and back and weather was not good anywhere but Half Moon Cay but that not the cruises fault. The food however was not very good, didn’t even look appealing. There was no entertainment really other than comedian who was very good and some piano bar etc. just a bunch of games and auctions ...
Food was awful. Ship was outdated. Staff were nice and pleasant. The ship was constantly in your pocket from the time you sail away until the last day. It is definitely a party boat. Comedy show we saw was good. Nuasau was a nasty trashy place. When we asked staff where the beach was they said walk 20 minutes and make rights. The place was trashy, bums, locals harassing you. The beach had glass, ...
I have always really enjoyed cruising and out of Baltimore is a plus. I've cruised all lines out of Baltimore and have liked Carnival best. Pre Covid we cruised on Pride and really enjoyed ourselves. After Covid we have cruised twice on the Legend.
The first cruise on Legend was average, I chalked most of this up to the fact of the cruise ships just getting back into business and getting their ...
Sailed out of Baltimore on Carnival Legend for a 7-day cruise to the Bahamas. The wife and I sailed with our two girls, 15 and 17. This was our third cruise and second cruise on Carnival, the other one being on the Carnival Pride in 2018. I'll start with general thoughts, then I'll discuss some positives, and end with the negatives. Generally, the ship was clean and the food decent. There were ...
We booked this cruise and had to postpone it many times due to covid. My first poor experience was calling to get my deposit refunded and I was told I couldn’t because “the cruise will definitely set sail”. It did not, but, I had already moved the date as I was told to do.
Lunch- great food stations… but you have to stand in line for 30-60 minutes depending on what you pick.
Dinner- small ...
We wanted a family cruise. So we chose the carnival legend. The food selection was absolutely minimal. There was not many choices to chose from and everything we ate gave us diarrhea the whole entire time. And several other people in the boat dealt with the same issue. We went through a storm and in the midst of that, two rooms had their balconies fly completely off! The ship is very outdated. The ...
Carnival Legend did nothing but cause stress in a time of relax. I got the (15 ct) drink package in which the bars attempted to cut me off even when I had 5 / 4 drinks left. This happened twice. Other bars could see how many drinks I had left, but the other half had their computers reading I reached my limit, taking away from what I paid. When dining at Follies, the server charged another persons ...
Be prepared to wait at the Baltimore port for 2 hours in the car.
Our room steward was young, untrained and did not understand English
Food was in the refrigerator from the last guest. After letting our room steward know, I threw it away on Wednesday
We had to ask for clean glasses by Friday
No clean towels. I think we were supposed to use the towel animals
We had to schedule a time ...
Upfront, Carnival lost us as customers and will explain why when discussing debarkation.
We chose Baltimore as it’s a convenient 50 min drive for us. We lived in FL for many years and all our previous cruises where out of FL ports. This was our first cruise since COVID, so we were curious on what changes we would see. One immediate change is the HUB app. This is an awesome addition and ...
This was a Thanksgiving cruise and we had a balcony on the 6th floor. I have been on the Pride and Legend at least 2 or 3 times before this cruise. Maybe part of why I was so disappointed was because of all the things they took away. One thing I always took advantage of was a free in room limited -menu breakfast. We like to stay up late and sleep late when cruising and having your coffee and a ...
