Halloween cruise with lots of scary problems. Embark first horror...disembark bigger mess. In between 5 days with deaths, rape, poor correspondence between crew, one mistake after another. This was our 2nd time on the Pride but our experience did not rate as well as the last time. However, the lower rating was not the fault of the staff onboard the ship and primarily is aimed at Carnival's corporate policies.

My sons and I chose this cruise as it was only a 3 hour drive from home. (We live in NY). Our ports were to be Freeport, Grand Turk and Half Moon Cay. We are platinum. I have sailed 2 times on the Carnival Pride and have had a wonderful time both sails. I am from the area, I live 8 minutes form the Port. Not a good first impression.
Got to the port at our scheduled arrival time of 12:00.pm. Waited in line 2 hours before getting to the desk to check in. I know the terminal staff does this every week but they should be a little more friendly and nice.
The good side was that I got to meet a lot of nice people that I got to see and talk to during the cruise.
