Great meeting this guy, humble and transparent. He just knows what he's doing. As I said,if He is not your cruise activity director, just ask for a refund lol. He's that good.

Review for a Europe - British Isles & Western Cruise on Carnival Pride

We initially chose this cruise due to the price combined with the itinerary. I really didn’t want to add another cruise this year because we have traveled quite a bit and we have more on the books, but this seemed too good to pass up. We really enjoyed this ship. It is beautiful and just the right size to our thinking. The itinerary was ideal, but there were three tinder ports, and Dublin, for ...

Chose this cruise for the itinerary. Hadn't sailed on Carnival for decades but was pleasantly surprised. The ship itself was in drydock for a month prior to sailing and looked great. There were signs of cutbacks which didn't keep me from enjoying the cruise but were noticeable. Cabin stewards seemed to have more cabins to service but we still had wonderful service from our attendant, Adi. ...

Norway Fjords, 9 days are too long.

On October 2022 I booked a 14 days Baltic cruise in P&O Britanny, which I paid on front, because the pound-dollar rate was the lowest, about 1.12 ( currently 1.28 ), no service charge, free launderette, overnight in Stockholm and Copenhague, calls in Helsinki and 3 more small cities. A few weeks later the cruise was cancelled by P&O and I had to find something to replace it within the same dates ...

First time on Carnival

Review for a Europe - All Cruise on Carnival Pride

We received a text offering this cruise as a very competitive price so we decided to bite the bullet and do our first post covid cruise. We usually sail with P and O, this was our first time on Carnival so we were interested to see how they compare. Our cruise company used Port Parking which had a 15 minute transfer from Folkestone, embarkation was fairly smooth, a bit of queuing outside the ...

Review for a Baltic Sea Cruise on Carnival Legend

Friday, August 16th, 2013, started off like most of the Friday's since I started working. 12 hours worth of work crammed into 8 hours, if nothing went wrong. My Karma was good, I left work on time with all tasks completed. Vacation started at 14:30 Arizona Standard Time (regardless of its official designation). We made it to Sky Harbor in plenty of time to make it through security. Unfortunately, ...

About us: This was a Dad and Daughter trip. My family cruises together often as a group and my wife and I cruise as a couple on occasion as well. We have been aboard Carnival Legend before, having traveled from Tampa on a prior trip. Galveston is a very convenient port for us. Consequently, we tend to use Carnival often, although we have also used RCL and Holland America Line as well from other ...

I chose to take a Carnival cruise as I did not realise the Legend sailed from Dover only 30 mins from my home and did not fancy the trek to Southampton to join my favourite line P&O. although owned by Carnival they are worlds apart on standards. The ship is gaudy and depressing in its decor and whoever designed it should be ashamed of themselves. The food in the buffet is average and not very ...

Review for a Baltic Sea Cruise on Carnival Splendor

I am 39 years old. This was me and my wife's 7th Cruise. First ever trip to Europe. We have sailed 4 times on Royal Caribbean and this was our 3rd on Carnival. We stayed at the Ramada Hotel and it was reasonably well appointed for the price. The one thing we liked was the king size bed, which we discovered is a rarity in Europe. The TAXI situation is an issue in Dover. It is a small town ...

Just returned for the Carnival Splendor Baltic cruise (25 July - 6 Aug) out of Dover England. This was the second 12 day cruise for the Splendor and its fourth overall. Pre-Cruise In London (2 days) - We stayed at the Royal Lancaster across the street from Hyde Park and short walks to many sites of London. We toured London via the Big Bus, thus allowing us to get on and get off at will. Blue ...

We just returned from 12 days on the Carnival Splendor. We were on the first sailing of the Splendor to Northern Europe. Overall the ship and the ports are fun and interesting. We spent a couple of days in London and left from the Victoria bus station. For those folks using the Carnival transfer from the Victoria station to Dover make sure that you are at the right Victoria station as there are ...
