Carnival Bahamas Cruise Reviews

Great meeting this guy, humble and transparent. He just knows what he's doing. As I said,if He is not your cruise activity director, just ask for a refund lol. He's that good.

Good time for our family's first cruise

This was our family's first cruise and we sailed with my parents and my brother's family (group of 10, total). Ship was easy to navigate and overall very good. We were in Cabin 1236. Clean room - clean ship overall. Food was good, but we do have very laid back palates...not too picky! Entertainment was awesome! We all loved Cruise Director (I believe is his title) "Donkey". He kept things ...

We chose this cruise for the dates mainly, 3 families, 10 of us (6 adults, 4 kids) for Spring Break. Adults ages 40-50, kids ages 10-13. Embarkation was fairly speedy. We chose the 12:30 time slot. You're in this building being funneled through to folks that look at your documentation, take your photo, and give you your lifeline, which is your room card/charge card. Big waiting area, ...

Relaxing, seemed like a brand new ship

Liked the deportation city of New Orleans, 3 hours from our home, with family where we could spend the night before, and no need for a flight. However, very few people on the trip were from Louisiana. The ship was huge, with over 3000 passengers. Surprisingly, even though the ship was fully booked, I never noticed the mobs of people I expected to see. The weather was cooler than expected, so the ...

Did not meet expectations

Family vacation, had adjoining rooms with family, our cabin steward was inattentive, did not even know his name throughout the whole cruise. Turn down service only happened once and with a two year old, this was necessary. Dinners turned into 1.5 to 2 hour events with 2 two year olds, although the server was pleasant and attentive, just not very quick. Had the cabin steward done his job and ...

Spring Break 4-day Cruise

We chose this cruise out of Port Canaveral because we wanted to go to Orlando for a few days also, and this 4-day itinerary worked out great. This was the 14th cruise for my wife and I, and the 10th for our kids. We had never sailed out of Port Canaveral before, and everything went fine. I had ready on some other reviews that Carnival is only offering its guests room cleaning once a day, ...

We chose this cruise because it was leaving from Baltimore and the cost for us to fly to Baltimore was very reasonable. We also had never been to Baltimore and took a couple of days to visit. We choose Carnival because we like the entertainment and the food is always excellent. We were not disappointed at all. We found the excursions reasonably priced compared to booking them off the ship ...

Worst Cruise Ever

I cruise every spring break. I chose this cruise because they dates were right, the price was good, and the debarkation port is awesome (New Orleans). The food in the Scarlet dining lounge was not good, the service was even worse, much worse. The shows in the Encore lounge were fantastic. But why the wait? Ship's crew left the doors closed (light and sound checks, presumably) until ...

Great Time for Newbies and Seasoned Travelers

We chose this cruise, primarily for two reasons; 1) we wanted to give our graduating high school seniors an end of the year gift and 2) this ship was close to our home in Mississippi. This was our first time to cruise and we went with two other families that had cruised before. One couple cruised on the Dream several months earlier. Everyone had a great time. The couple that had recently ...

What a great ship!

The Carnival Pride staff should be proud of themselves. Everyone was very friendly, and customer service was amazing. I am beyond impressed with the staff and crew of the ship, every single person was so kind, nice, and ALWAYS smiling. The ship definitely could use a bit of updating . . . but the friendly staff and cleanliness more than made up for that. The staff in the dining room ...
