This is the trip that my traveling agent put together for my family and I, we had a wonderful time I met a lot of people on the trip from many different states , and countries , it was so amazing for our first time family whom travel with us they really enjoy the cruise, the cabins was very nice and clean at all times loved my animals on my bed each day I returned to my room, the food was ...
This was our 12th Carnival cruise. We drove to Charleston the night before the cruise and stayed at the Hampton Inn & Suites about 20 minutes from the port. Check in in Charleston was seamless. I prepaid for parking at the port. We booked a grand suite with extended balcony. We got in the building, went straight to priority check in, got our boarding passes stamped and off we go to the ship. ...
We are a family of four and this was our first cruise. We did not have high expectations as we knew coming on that this was an old shop....we chose it because of it being within driving distance from our home. The ship itself isn’t terrible (aside from the tiniest pool I’ve ever seen). Most of the crew really do try hard to make it a pleasant experience.
The food is absolutely horrendous. ...
We chose this cruise as a short getaway during Spring Break.
Everything was simply beyond expectations. This was my 5th and best cruise yet.
The ship overall was in excellent condition, clean, and sported a friendly atmosphere.
The cabin exceed our expectations. We signed up for a TBD cabin as it was the cheapest option when we booked the cruise and we really do not care what our cabin ...
Great to be with an older girls cruise for the long weekend.
Friendly service. Food so-so and always only mildly warmed in dining room. Bread very hard.
As for entertainment, the dance shows were LOUD electric music with flashing lights. Singers going to the top of voice range which means I had to put hands over ears. Nice costumes and movement around stage.
Avoid Kirk as a ...
Bottom line of this review: You get what you pay for and WASH YOUR HANDS. This was my third cruise with Carnival, with my other two sailings on Miracle. I've never cruised with anyone else. My partner and I chose this cruise because we wanted a quick getaway and couldn't commit to a 7 or 10-day sailing. We understood Liberty was not one of the newer ships, and amenities/cabins may be outdated, and ...
We chose this cruise because it disembarks out of Baltimore and it was easy to get to. This is why I'm giving it 2 stars:
1. Our room had a squeaky bunkbed that squeaked all night long; a really LOUD shrieking non-stop sound. The only way we could get it to die down, was by jamming stuff in the wall where the bunkbed frame was secured against the wall. Staff came about 3 times and could ...
We chose this trip because of Value for the money and high ratings. We have no regrets on our choice. The trip was full of activities and events. We did one shore excursion on Nassau but stayed on the ship at Freeport, still could not cover the activities. The violin concerts by Eureka Strings were the highlight of our cruise. We attended those all 4 evenings. The kids' Camp Ocean was wonderful ...
The beds in our cabin were uncomfortable and the A/C was subpar. We normally have very comfortable matrices on Carnival cruises. Public bathrooms and areas need a deep cleaning and more attention though out the cruise. Many of the deck chairs need replacing. We noticed stains and tears in the Serenity deck clam shell cushions. Staff was very friendly and attentive to guest. The activities and ...
My husband and I went with another couple to the Bahamas on Carnival Pride March 10, 2019. We were super impressed with how clean the ship was. Staff seemed to be cleaning all the time. Our steward was Rommell and kept our suite clean twice a day. The main dining room food was better than any 5 star restaurant! The filet mignon was AMAZING! We ate at buffets most mornings. As a pizza lover I was ...
