We were very pleased with the cruise BUT we always get a balcony and right below our balcony was a whirlpool with a very bright light that shined into our room all night. Had a suite room had a tub only no shower. Very disappointed! We are in our early eighties and climbing into and out if a bathtub not safe or easy for seniors. Luckily we had a decko drain along the tub on the floor and our Room steward brought in a handicap bathroom seat and we took our showers beside the tub right out on the floor. This was to be our very first cruise-so at the tender age of 67, my wife and I booked an Excel aft corner suite on the Mardi Gras. I had an wonderful time, and would love to cruise again. The food, clubs, comedy, and drinks are the all good. The staff is the best and I would prefer everyone to go try it out.
